Thanks to Musselburgh Area Partnership for hosting a fantastic Musselburgh Communities Day at The Fisherrow Centre this weekend!

Our Project Officer Connie represented Bridges on the day ✨️ She enjoyed speaking to people from the local community about our work and catching up with all the amazing organisations present 🙌

We're proud to be part of such a wonderful community in Musselburgh 🤩

Last week, Hannah and Nathan from Change Mental Health ran a couple of co-production workshops with our young people 📝

The workshops are part of a new employability pathway Mental Health UK are developing and focused on a range of inter-related areas of mental health and employability. Our young people had the chance to feed back on the workshops to help shape their future development and therefore contribute to making a real difference for other young people 🥰

Thank you to Change Mental Health for offering our young people the opportunity to contribute to shaping this important provision 🤝

Chilling in hammocks ✌️

That's just one of the things our young people in the outdoor employability training course have been up to in the last couple of weeks!

In addition to learning about how to put up the hammocks, they have also:
🌳 Identified trees and plant species using a plant ID sheet
🍯 Made jam
🔥 Learned about fire making
