𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘆 ❤️

This time last year, our team came together to host Pure Engineering Group’s first charity fundraiser in aid of Childrens Heartbeat Trust.

We chose to hold it around World Heart Day because the cause is close to home for us.

Our General Manager Charlotte’s son, Archie, was diagnosed with a rare congenital heart condition when he was just five months old. Children’s Heartbeat Trust supported Charlotte and her family through Archie’s surgery and recovery, and we wanted to give something back.

What started as a conversation between Charlotte and Lauren grew into a five-a-side tournament, family fun day and charity quiz. Our team put so much work into making it happen, and the response from local businesses, volunteers and the wider Newry community was incredible.

Eight corporate teams took to the pitch, with Specsavers winning the final against Haldane Fisher Northern Ireland after a penalty shootout. Beyond the football, the venue was full of music, food, stalls and activities for the children. It was a day we’ll always remember.

A year on, we’re still grateful to everyone who helped us bring it together and supported Children’s Heartbeat Trust. ❤️

Directors Padraig and Martin, alongside our AI Engineer Ambrish Muniraju, represented Pure Engineering Group at the Northern Ireland Manufacturing & Supply Chain Conference & Exhibition at the Eikon Exhibition Centre in Lisburn.

A full programme covering digital transformation, automation and the practical application of AI across the sector. Not theory, but how these technologies are already changing the way engineering and manufacturing businesses operate day to day.

Good to hear from Suriya Subbiah Perumal, Prof. V. Charles, PhD, PDRF, FRSS, FBCS, SFHEA, FPPBA and Jarlath Warner, and and Ruth Kearney, who hosted on the day and delivered her own session.
