We’re heading off to a quite remote part of the world, were there’ll be little to no phone reception — basically, we’re going off-grid for a week! 😂📵

🚨 BEFORE YOU GET YOUR KITCHEN SPRAYED… READ THIS! 🚨

This week we were contacted by a customer who had paid another company to transform their kitchen — unfortunately, the result was far from what they expected.

The doors had been sprayed, while the kitchen itself had been poorly hand-painted. When the vinyl was removed, there was glue residue and damaged MDF left behind, and the customer hadn't been properly informed beforehand about the condition of the doors or what would be involved in putting them right.

To make matters worse, payment had already been taken before the job was fully completed.

This is exactly why we always say: DO YOUR
RESEARCH! 🔎

Before choosing someone to spray your kitchen:

✅ Make sure they are spraying all of your kitchen and not just the doors!
✅️Check genuine reviews
✅ Ask friends, family and people you know for recommendations
✅ Ask to see their previous work
✅ Ask what preparation is involved
✅ Ask what happens if your vinyl is peeling or damaged
✅ Ask what products and paint systems they use
✅ Make sure you understand exactly what you're paying for
✅ And don't be afraid to ask questions!

Remember — YOU are the customer. You are paying for the work, so you have every right to understand the process and expect a professional finish.

And one very important piece of advice:
💷 Don't pay the final balance until the job is finished and you're genuinely happy with the result.

A proper kitchen respray isn't simply a case of putting paint on doors. Preparation is everything. Damaged MDF, glue, peeling vinyl, edges and repairs all need to be dealt with correctly before the paint ever goes on.

We'd much rather spend time explaining the process to a customer beforehand than have them disappointed afterwards.

Do your homework. Ask the questions. Check the work. And choose wisely.
