Another couple of rooms from last project - before & after. 👌

These walls had been freshly plastered, so I started with a few small repairs, sanding and then a mist coat before moving on to the final colour. The ceilings were finished in white.

On this project I was only working on the walls and ceilings the doors, skirting boards and other woodwork were left as they were.

You can see the other rooms from this house in my previous posts below.

Hope you like the finish.

Now for the next part of this project the entrance and hallway.

The conservatory from this house is in my previous post, and here you can see the hallway area by the main entrance.

For this part, the walls and ceilings were sanded and painted fresh white throughout. I didn’t paint the woodwork this time, and the flooring is being changed later, so the main focus was to get the walls and ceilings looking clean and fresh.

The next post will be the living room, and I’ll try to add a video from this house as well.

Hope you like the result. 😊

Today I’m starting to share another project, and this time we’re beginning with a small conservatory.

The yellow is gone, and everything now feels much calmer in one fresh colour. It’s a simple change, but it makes the space look much cleaner and brighter.

In this project I’ll also be showing the living room, another room, part of the kitchen, and the hallway by the main entrance.

More photos and updates coming soon. 😊

I’m back today with another little transformation. This room went from pink to a warm peach colour, and it has made the space feel much softer and brighter.

I also painted the frame and skirting boards in the same colour to keep everything looking clean and blended. The small fireplace had a little refresh too from white to Peacock Suit, which adds a nice bit of contrast and character.

Simple changes, but they really made a difference.

Hope you like the result. 😊

Before & After

Today I’m sharing the upper part of the staircase.

The walls, ceilings and woodwork were painted, giving the whole area a much cleaner and fresher look.

The carpets were not covered because they are being replaced.

You can see the lower part of the staircase in my previous post, and below there is also a before and after video.

I’m really happy with how this part turned out. Hope you like the transformation.

Today I’m sharing the lower part of the staircase, including the small cupboard under the stairs.

This was one of those awkward areas to work on tight spaces, hard-to-reach corners and a high ceiling, so it needed a bit of patience.

I painted the walls, ceiling and woodwork, and I think it came out really well. The whole area now looks much cleaner, brighter and fresher.

The carpets weren’t covered because they are being replaced.

Tomorrow I’ll share the higher part of the staircase.

I’m really happy with the result and I hope you like it too.

Before and after . Another project completed this time a staircase transformation.
A lot of preparation went into this one: repairs, filling, sanding and fresh coats of paint to bring the whole space back to life.
The staircase now looks much brighter, cleaner and fresher. I’m really happy with the final result and I hope you like the transformation too.

Can you paint straight after removing wallpaper?

Technically, yes… but the result might surprise you and not in a good way.

I don’t like to take that risk. Once the wallpaper is off, I remove as much old paste as possible, sand the walls properly, and apply Zinsser Gardz to seal the surface. This helps stop any old wallpaper adhesive from reactivating when the paint goes on.

After that, I fill any cracks, holes and imperfections, sand everything again, and then the painting can finally begin.

Preparation takes time, but it makes all the difference to the final finish.

This time a small living room and dining room.

The lower walls went from red to a deep blue, with the upper walls, ceilings and woodwork painted white.
