CS Driving

🎉 Congratulations, Mr B! 🎉

What a fantastic result! 🚗👏

Mr B came to me a few weeks ago for an assessment drive after his original instructor had initially decided he wasn’t quite ready to take the driving test.

Rather than giving up, Mr B took the feedback on board and booked a handful of lessons with me. After working together and focusing on the areas that needed improvement, he was ready to go for it!

And what a result… Mr B passed his driving test with just 2 minor faults! 🥳👏

A massive congratulations to Mr B — your hard work, determination and willingness to take feedback on board really paid off!

If you’re unsure whether you’re ready for your driving test, an assessment drive can be a great way to get an honest, professional opinion and identify exactly what you need to work on.

Choosing a driving instructor isn’t just about finding the lowest price. It is about choosing someone who will teach you properly, safely, and confidently.

A “cheap” lesson can become very expensive when poor teaching leads to:

Bad habits

Missed fundamentals

Extra lessons

Failed tests

Quality instruction pays for itself. A good instructor saves you time, money, and stress by teaching things correctly from day one. Clear explanations, structured lessons, calm coaching, and proper test‑standard skills make all the difference.

At CS Driving, learners benefit from a very high pass rate and consistently low faults because the focus is on building real driving skill. The kind of skill that keeps you safe on the road for years to come.

If you want high‑quality automatic instruction with modern teaching methods, I have lesson slots available. Let’s get you driving confidently and correctly from the start.

Congratulations Bryony! It’s been an absolute pleasure driving with you, enjoy the freedom!

It's quicker to learn in an Automatic! In the first half of 2026, manual gearboxes accounted for just 7.9% of new car deliveries in the UK, with automatic making up approximately 92.1% of the market.

🚗 A Message for Anyone Choosing a Driving Instructor
This week I met a new learner who is now on their 4th instructor.

They spent two years with their first instructor, who told them they were “test ready”. Unfortunately, they weren’t even close — and it wasn’t their fault.

Here’s what I discovered in their first lesson with me:

Parking: They had been taught to park on the pavement and didn’t know how to position safely alongside the kerb.

Mirror checks: They’d never been taught to check mirrors when changing speed.

Moving off: No test‑standard observations.

Basic awareness: Skills that should be covered in your first few lessons simply weren’t taught.

Why?
Because their first instructor was unqualified.
Their second shouted constantly.
Their third set the sat‑nav and barely spoke.

Learners deserve better than that.

If you want calm, structured, qualified instruction — with clear explanations, modern teaching methods, and a focus on building confidence — I have automatic lesson slots available.

Send me a message and let’s get you driving properly, safely, and to test standard. 🚗✨
