Holly Cowell is a force to be reckoned with. She is consistently on the phone screening candidate after candidate and cannot do enough to support her team, not only does she recruit temp staff she recruits perm staff as well. Holly is always upbeat positive and an amazing asset to the team. 

She is incredibly supportive of her team, highly efficient, and genuinely cares about her candidates, which is so refreshing to see. Holly C consistently goes above and beyond, and her dedication, hard work, and commitment truly deserve to be recognised. She’s a real asset to the team and company as a whole.

Yesterday marked World Cleanup Day 🌍♻️

World Cleanup Day brings millions of people together across the world to tackle litter and waste, raise awareness of the global waste problem and encourage communities to take action.

At Approach Personnel, we wanted to do our bit too.

Our team headed out last week around the local area to litter pick and help clean up our community 🗑️

It might be a small action, but that’s exactly what World Cleanup Day is about, people taking practical action locally and collectively making a much bigger difference.

Yesterday, members of the Approach Personnel team had the pleasure of attending Pro Environmental Charity Golf Day, raising money for Brake, the road safety charity, in memory of Amie Pearson.

It was a fantastic event and, most importantly, helped raise an amazing £1,254 so far for such an important cause.

There was also a bit of success on the course for Approach with Aidan Bestwick taking the win! 🏆

We have another new team member to introduce today - Ella Robinson has joined our perm division and will be helping resource across a number of construction sectors. We caught up with Ella to learn a little more about her and what brought her to Approach...

‘Before working for Approach, I worked at a Trampoline Park and then a Jewellers in the Victoria Centre.

I wanted to join Approach to expand my knowledge and enter the world of recruitment. I was attracted to the company’s professional reputation and the opportunity to develop my skills and experience within a supportive environment.

With my role at Approach, I would like to build my confidence within the role, develop my communication and organisational skills and become a reliable and valuable member of the team. I am also keen to learn as much as possible and take on new responsibilities and progress within the company over time.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and travelling the world whenever possible, starting with one country at a time.’

Welcome to the team Tyler Law! Tyler has joined our Trades & Labour division and will be supporting the Fit Out and Interiors sector as well as General Construction in the supply of reliable, quality guaranteed blue collar staff. We caught up with Tyler to learn a little more about what has brought her to Approach...

‘Before joining Approach, I worked as a recruitment consultant specialising in the engineering and renewable energy market, where I developed my skills in business development, candidate sourcing and building long term client relationships.

I was really drawn to Approach because of the culture and relationship-led way of working. I wanted to join a business where I could build genuine relationships with clients and candidates while continuing to develop commercially.

I’m looking forward to building a successful desk, developing strong client and candidate relationships and ultimately becoming a high-performing consultant moving upwards within the business.

Outside of work, I run my own hair and beauty business, enjoy going to the gym and spending time with my friends in various social activities such as padel, shopping and pub trips!’

‘Before joining Approach Personnel, I worked as an Assistant Manager at McDonald’s at a busy motorway services, where I gained experience managing a team and working in a fast-paced environment.

I was attracted to the business because of its values and culture. From the conversations I had, it seemed like a great place to work, learn and develop my career.

In my new role, I’m looking forward to working with Jordie Goodwin to build the desk, develop a strong pool of reliable candidates and make successful placements.

Outside of work, I enjoy going out for food and weekend walks – especially when there’s a pub at the end! 🙂’
