Snug Recording Co.

The studio was founded in 2006 by Robin Newman and Richard Collins after taking over The Hive Recording Studio which they had been managing in years prior to that. They still own, manage and run the studio sessions and you can read any updates, news and opinions they may post on the News / Blog page on our website. The acquisition of The Hive brought an overhaul of the studio interior and large investment into upgrading the facilities including completely refitted electrics, a custom-designed isolation booth, professional acoustic treatment and an extensive range of microphones, outboard processors, effects and software. has since become one of the premiere recording studios in the region and has produced recordings for hundreds of local, national and international artists, films and television productions. Please contact us if you'd like to discuss any project you have in mind. We can talk you through the options regardless of your previous studio experience.
