The magic of Halloween is just around the corner. 🧙🏻♀️🔮
Head to Sherwood Pines - Forestry England this October and follow the bewitching Room on the Broom trail, where families can join the Witch and her friends on a spellbinding woodland adventure. From Thursday 1 October, the trail gets an extra spooky twist, with magical cauldrons to discover and clues to solve a special Halloween crossword.

Did someone say Goose Fair? 🎡
Kicking off this weekend, the fun fair that has been a fixture on Nottingham’s event calendar since 1284 returns to Forest Recreation Ground from Friday 25 September – Sunday 4 October.
What once started with livestock trading and flocks of geese waddling through the city has turned into an iconic fair with more than 400 rides and attractions, making it one of the largest and oldest travelling funfairs in Europe.
Whether you're keen to make the rounds on the highest of rides or prefer to keep your feet firmly on the ground and tuck into traditional fairground treats or delicious Nottingham delicacies, Goose Fair is not to be missed!
