I don't make round rings. Because nobody has round fingers.
Irregular, oval, sculptural forms are more interesting to make and more interesting to wear.

At this time of year I will always think of my wonderful friend Lubna of Lubna Din. These holly hocks came from seeds she shared and are a beautiful reminder of her bright gracefulness. I do miss her and I'm so glad to be reminded of her everytime the hollyhocks bloom.

Its a warm day in the studio to be thinking about autumn events.
New ideas and designs are slowly unfurling but its too hot for proper making. Its a day for a gentle potter about.
