💛 Two hours. That's all it takes. It's the thing none of us want to think about. It's also the thing we'd all rather know before we ever need it.

You'll learn how to:
👶 Do baby and child CPR and give rescue breaths
⚡ Use a defibrillator
🫁 Help a choking baby or child
🩹 Handle bumps, bruises, bleeding, burns and breaks
🚩 Spot red flags like sepsis and meningitis
📞 Give 999, 111 or your GP the right information when every second counts

Newborns are welcome, so there's no need to find childcare. 💛

📣 Yesterday was World Sepsis Day - and this is the post every parent should read.

Sepsis in children can move FAST. Know the signs, trust your instincts. You know your child best. ❤️

🚨 RED FLAGS TO WATCH FOR:

🫁 Very fast breathing, or it looks like hard work. Grunting babies or tummy sucking in under the ribs.

⚡ A fit

🎨 Skin, lips or tongue look blue, grey, pale or blotchy. On black or brown skin, check the palms and soles of the feet

🩸 A rash that does not fade when you press it (glass test)

🌡️ A persistently high (>38c) or low (

❤️ Statistically, you're more likely to give CPR to your spouse, parent, or child than to a stranger.

Let that sink in for a second... 😳

Because when that moment comes, it won't be a tick-box exercise. It won't be about the certificate. It'll be you, trying to remember what your hands are supposed to do while your brain is screaming at you. 😰
