Part 1 of the microcement floor 👊

The floor was primed beforehand, then today we got both base coats on. The base coats build up the surface and give us a solid base for the finish.

Top coat goes on tomorrow in part 2. Keep an eye out for the finished look 👀

Not plastering related, but I just wanted to share this one. This is Tidge, my best mate. Eight years together, from that tiny pup to the big lad beside me now. Wouldn’t swap him for the world. Love you, Tidge ❤️

Full extension drylined and skimmed in three days. The lads have grafted their backsides off to get it boxed off, and I’m genuinely grateful to have a solid team around me. There are plenty of letdowns in this industry, so having people who turn up and get stuck in means a lot.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

The media wall is FINALLY finished 🔥

Built it, plastered it and now fully microcemented. Even gave it the red w**e test at the end… risky business 😂🍷

What do you reckon on the final finish?

Another one boxed off ✅

Bedroom and en-suite plastered at a care home. Nice quick one—clean, tidy and ready for decorating. Onto the next! 👊

2023 Ford Ranger. 19,000 miles. Wet belt gone 🤯

Apparently they’re quieter and more efficient… brilliant—the engine quietly eats its own belt 😂

Absolute dogsh*t engineering. Anyone else had this?

Definitely wasn’t plastering today… 😂🪂

Instead, I jumped out of a plane at 15,000 feet!

Honestly, what an absolutely incredible experience. Easily one of the most terrifying and exciting things I’ve ever done—and it was all to raise money for an amazing cause, The Brain Tumour Charity. ❤️

Would I do it again? 100%.

If anyone would like to support the fundraiser, I’ll put the donation link in the comments. Every donation is massively appreciated!

Quick tip before plastering around LED profiles 👌

Cover the diffuser or profile without with FrogTape before you start, plaster as normal, then peel it off at the end for on after second trowel for a clean finish. Takes two minutes and saves loads of messing around afterwards.
