Accessibility is so important, and today weβve taken another big step forward.
Stair nosings provide a bright, high-contrast strip on the edge of each step, helping people with visual impairments to navigate stairs more safely and confidently.
Thanks to generous funding from , we were able to purchase stair nosings for all 22 edges at the top and bottom of our beautiful staircase. Today, with the help of Steven from , they were expertly fitted.
The installation took many hours of hard work, but the result is well worth it. Our staircase is now safer, more accessible, and ready to serve our visitors for many years to come.
A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this project happen! π

Weβre absolutely delighted to share that once again, Scotmid Co-op has awarded us a Community Grant! π
Thanks to their generous support, we have received Β£350 in Scotmid vouchers, which will help provide refreshments for the people who attend our health and wellbeing groups and activities.
Thereβs something special about ending an event with a cuppa, a chat, and a biscuit. These simple moments help bring people together, create connections, and make everyone feel welcome. βπͺ
This funding makes a real difference and helps us continue offering that warm, friendly environment for our service users.
A huge thank you to Scotmid Community for your ongoing support β we really appreciate it! π

We were out and about at the weekend with a stand at the !
Pictured are VisionPK CEO, Kate Charles, and one of our fantastic volunteers, Kareen McDougall, who spent the day chatting with visitors and sharing information about the support and services we provide across Perth and Kinross.
Events like this are a wonderful opportunity to connect with local communities, raise awareness of sight and hearing loss, let people know how they can support our work, and of course enjoy a few games and a bit of fun along the way!
A huge thank you to the organisers for inviting us along and to everyone who stopped by to say hello. We loved meeting you all!
