🌟 We're Hiring: Activity Engagement Worker (Creative Wellbeing)

Are you passionate about using creativity to support mental health and wellbeing? We're looking for an Activity Engagement Worker (Creative Wellbeing) to join our team at The Walled Garden and Wisecraft.

In this exciting role, you'll design and deliver a creative wellbeing programme across:
🎨 Arts & Crafts
✍️ Creative Writing
🎭 Dance & Drama
🎶 Music

You'll help people explore their creativity, express themselves, develop new skills and discover positive opportunities within the arts. You'll also support volunteers, build links with local communities, and help showcase the incredible creative talents of our clients through exhibitions, performances and more.

PKAVS attended today's Perth and Kinross Economic Summit, sponsored by SSE, which brought together 300 business leaders from across the area to identify the actions needed to drive sustainable economic growth.

The Third Sector PK (TSI) facilitated and participated in round table discussions focused on identifying cross sector actions that can be taken to support local businesses and the economy, and how to develop sustainable and diverse routes to employment for young people.

TSI Team Leader Roisin Smith said: "We were delighted to be involved, not only to support conversations but to provide a third sector perspective on how collaborative working can strengthen communities, including the private sector, and look forward to supporting some of the actions identified from the discussions."

💛This week is Remember A Charity Week, a national campaign that encourages people to consider leaving a gift to charity in their Will after providing for family and loved ones.

The conversations, connections and ideas shared through these sessions will continue to benefit local groups long after the training has finished, helping them support communities across the region.
