Condensation can relate to heating, ventilation and insulation, while moisture can also result from defects or water ingress.
Simply wiping away mould therefore doesn't necessarily solve the underlying problem.

New requirements relating to damp and mould are due to come into force, introducing clearer expectations around investigating reports and progressing necessary action.

It might feel a little early to be thinking about heating, but September is a great time to switch it on and make sure everything is working properly.

Finding a problem now is much better than discovering it on the first freezing weekend of winter!
