Alpha K9

🐾 The Dog Is Only Half Of The Training

Bitework might look like it’s all about the dog - but a huge part of the work is actually about the person holding the lead. 🫵

Learning how to read your dog, when to give direction, how to stay calm and how to communicate clearly can completely change the way you train together. 🤝

That’s why at Alpha K9, we don’t just work the dog - we work with the handler too. 🫡

The goal is to leave every session with a better understanding of your dog, more confidence in how to manage them, and a clearer idea of what to work on next. 👏

Because better handling creates better dogs. 👊

🐾 Not Sure Where To Start With Your Dog?

You don’t need to wait until a problem gets worse before asking for help. ❤️

At Alpha K9, we work with owners who simply want more from life with their dog - better focus, better manners, more confidence, stronger obedience and a dog that is easier to manage in everyday situations. 🐕‍🦺

Every dog is different, which is why the first step is understanding what you want to improve and what your dog actually needs. 🤝

Whether you’ve got a young dog starting from scratch, a dog with habits you want to change, or you simply want to take your training to the next level, we can help you build a clear way forward. ❤️

🎥 A Look Back At Our Bitework Day

A few more clips from our recent Bitework Training Day at Alpha K9. 👊

Days like this are all about learning, control and building confidence - for both the dog and the handler. 🤝

From understanding how your dog works, to improving communication and developing the right behaviours in a controlled environment, every session is designed to help owners feel more confident and more in control. 🐾

It’s not about aggression - it’s about creating stable, well-managed dogs that know exactly what’s expected of them. ✅

Another brilliant day at the unit with a great group of dogs and handlers. ⤵️

👀 And stay tuned… details of our next Bitework Day will be coming soon.

✅ More Than Just A Training Session

At Alpha K9, it’s not just about turning up, training your dog and heading home.

Business owner, Jamie takes the time to speak with owners, explain what’s happening, answer questions and help people properly understand their dogs - because the more confident and informed the handler is, the better the training becomes. 🐾

And it all happens from our dedicated Alpha K9 training unit in Perth - a secure, controlled space built to give dogs and handlers the right environment to learn, progress and work without unnecessary distractions. 📌

From obedience and confidence building to more advanced training, the aim is always the same: clear communication, better control and a stronger relationship between dog and owner. 👏

Here’s a little look around the unit when it’s quiet… before the work begins. 🐕
