We love sharing the positive impact weight lifting and structured training can haveā¦
Anik Bin Ashraf joined us at over 9 months ago for one of our 6 week programmes before becoming a memberā¦
The programme convinced him, we might know what we are doing! š
When joining, Anik had been suffering with injury and couldnāt get back to doing what he enjoyed, which was running.
Not only is he enjoying running again, heās found a new understanding around strength work and itās importance to his running.
To see him complete the Perth 10k in sub 50, in his 50ās was great for us, even better for him šš»
We know so many people are wanting to be healthier.
We just wish we could help more people make the change and thatās why structured programming, coaching and the right environment matter so much.
Well done Anik šš» great to see your progress and now just to keep that up!
Ps. He absolutely nailed this in one take, but we shouldnāt maybe be surprised with his decorated military service š«”

Anik came up to me the other week out the blue, prior to a group session just to let me know how great the club has been for himā¦
As always when you get compliments you arenāt necessarily expecting, it catches you outā¦
We put so much work in to providing structured training, accountability, coaching and focus on to individuals that the result and feedback shouldnāt be surprisingā¦
But it always is š and letās be honest itās always nice to hearā¦
Yes, itās great for us as coaches but importantly itās great to hear a member that has trusted the process and is now seeing the results.
Too often people are looking for quick fixes, but the quickest fix is the one that doesnāt last. And thatās why we donāt do fads, even if it would be a quick marketing winā¦
From ongoing injuries to being back doing what he originally loved⦠the difference? Weight training, building strength, mobility and allowing the tissues to adapt to handle running again.
Thanks for sharing your success Anik ā¤ļø it makes doing what we do all the more worthwhile šš»
More from Anik soonā¦

Today some of the team met up and we got in some CPD around coaching biomechanics šØāš
The main idea was to share ideas on how to coach more effectively, choose better cues, understand how each client moves differently, make better exercise selection based on the individual and ultimately how to progress training appropriately šš»
Our focus as a club is to provide you with all the tools to succeed, but as coaches we also have to learn within our group formats how best to provide the detail that matters most to each individual.
It might be one programme but that could still be 3 different people doing different exercises specific to their needs šŖš»
As they say⦠more than a gym!

Iām not sure where this post is going but itās a honest oneā¦
In 2015 we opened. Eager to make a difference to peoples lifeās.
As a personal trainer I could see the impact I had on people. Whether it was confidence from building strength, fitness or losing a few lbs and how that made them feel.
The trouble was it felt like a drop in the oceanā¦
How can I help more people, how can I scale this without losing the personal touch and still deliver the message.
The scaling was Club 300. Capped to 300 people to maintain the personal touch. Coaches committed to avoiding fads and looking to support people the right way.
The message became our 3 pillars⦠Mindset Movement Macros.
I genuinely thought we could help everyone⦠they just have to commit to the process.
Over the years it became clear, we canāt. People have to be ready to change and if they arenāt you just have to be ready to support them when they are.
At first that felt like failure. In the end it was actually personal development. Instead of taking it personally, it gave me better understanding of when to push and when to pull back.
Everything we do at Club 300 is based around just that. Meeting people where they are, providing structure, support and accountability so they donāt have to think too much about it.
Turn up, trust the process and be ready to open up and ask the right questions⦠we wonāt feed you fads or āI heard this could be goodā!
We provide evidence based information around training and nutrition and sometimes we donāt shout enough about it⦠partly I think thatās because we are up against a mountain of sexy fads. The truth is the simple stuff isnāt sexy.
However, we need to stay true to our values.
In 2026 we are still delivering the same message continuing the same original goal (slightly tweaked) ⦠help as many people as possible, who are ready to make a change šš»
(The last image is just to show a younger me before 11 years of inflation and rising costs!) š
FYI - if you want to get started you have about 24 hours to join our 6 week programme!

Onboarding Friday for a Monday start šŖš»
Fed up guessingā¦
Join us for our 6 Week Post Summer Reboot programme and we will help you overcome some common hurdlesā¦
What we will cover šš»
Specific calories and macronutrient targets.
18 Small Group Sessions over 6 weeks.
Recovery ā¤ļøā𩹠protocols around steps, sleep and hydration.
Weekly check-in - here we ensure your next week is better than the last.
What youāll feel šš»
More energy - always helpful, because of you are over 30 and havenāt focused on yourself for a whilst this is probably more important than anything else.
Improved fitness - a time comes when you truly want to feel like you did in your twenties. Starting is the problem and although we wouldnāt encourage you to compare to your old-self it is time to set a marker for your new self!
Improved strength - strength isnāt just about what you can lift on the bar now. Itās protecting your body for when you age. I think we would all prefer our independence as we grow older. You can start at any age, but the earlier the better.
Sustainability - no fads here and no quick fixes. We work on building sustainable results in a world full of quick fixes and fast rebounds⦠commit to learning or this probably isnāt for you.
We will support you over the 6 weeks to show you how simple health and fitness can beā¦
We arenāt saying itās easy, change isnāt, but once you get the basics right itās far easier than yo-yo dieting with frustration for years.
So, if you want to know what Mindset, Movement, Macros is all about and how others have done itā¦
Message āPSRā now and letās chatā¦

Not every gym is right for every person⦠and Club 300 wonāt be either.
However, we know what we are good at, and we want to be clear on why we might be right for you šš»
Some of our members want coached at every session, they want to be kept accountable, others are confidently training independentlyā¦
Both choose Club 300 we think for one main reasonā¦
Environment š¤
We cover things that 10 years ago you wouldnāt find in a gym⦠it used to just be rows of equipment and high intensity classes with 40 people getting a sweatā¦
Times have changed.
When people compare prices for āa gymā itās doing a disservice to many of the independents⦠I canāt speak for them all but at Club 300:
š Fully Programmed Group Coaching in small groups
š App to track your performance
š Groups you can actually book in to (members capped at 300 for this reason)
š Qualified coaches always available
š Coaches who know how to push you, pull back, correct you with every passing week
š Structure and accountability built in to your membership
š Additional 1-2-1 support available when you need it
Of course, programming might not sound like much but what it actually means is when you turn up and follow the plan week after week, you are being efficient with your time.
Making the most of the limited time you already have and above all donāt need to think too much about it⦠weāve got it covered.
Itās not for everyone though āļø and thatās okay ⦠we just started to be for the 300 šŖš»
