Possible Pathways

Yesterday we had the brilliant opportunity to visit St Joseph's to launch the first ever round of Possible Pathways Scholarships. With thanks to the Austin Bailey Foundation, we were able award £400 each to our first cohort of five sixth form students 💚 .

At Possible Pathways, we believe in investing in young people from Neath Port Talbot and we hope that our scholarships will support them to make the right decisions for their future.

We're also pleased to share that we will be returning to St Joseph's during this academic year to deliver some workshops for Sixth Formers.

🥳 WE ARE FIVE! 🥳

Today marks FIVE years since Possible Pathways was incorporated as a Community Interest Company. While we had numerous conversations about our mission for months and years beforehand, this is our official birthday!

We wanted to mark this occassion by thanking all of the people, organisations, local sixth form/colleges, and funders that have collaboratied with and supported us so far. We look forward to continuing this work and launching more exciting iniatives after the summer break 💚.

We recently met up with Wale at Race Council Cymru to exchange ideas on mentoring and learned about a fantastic intergenerational project that he is running. As you all know, mentoring is at the heart of Possible Pathways' work, so, we are always happy to shout about key opportunities like this. 👉️ Here's what we discussed at our April catch up:

💚 A number of lovely recent meetings with local organisations, we're very proud to be part of a fantastic network that aims to build a better future for young people in Neath Port Talbot;
💚 Our upcoming workshop. We hit a bit of a snag when trying to align schedules for this event, but are confident that we'll be able to deliver an impactful workshop this Autumn.
