🎱 TALK & POOL – TALK CLUB 💬

How are you? Out of 10?

Our next Talk & Pool session is coming up, and we’d love to see some new faces at PoolHub in Porth.

📅 Sunday 25th October 2026
⏰ 10:30am – 12:00pm
📍 PoolHub, 20 Hannah Street, Porth, CF39 9RB
👥 Open to men aged 18+

So, what is Talk & Pool?

It’s a chance to get together with other men, have a few games of pool and, most importantly, talk and listen.

Talk Club is a UK men’s mental health charity that creates safe, welcoming spaces where men can talk openly about how they’re feeling, without judgement.
You don’t need to be going through a crisis. You don’t need to have all the answers. And you certainly don’t need to be good at pool! 🎱😂

You can come along to:
✅ Meet new people
✅ Have a game of pool
✅ Talk about what’s going on in your life
✅ Listen to other men
✅ Or simply sit back and listen if that’s all you’re comfortable with

There is no pressure to speak. You can share as much or as little as you want, and what’s shared within the group is treated with respect and confidentiality. Talk Club groups are peer support rather than therapy, with the aim of helping men build their mental fitness through talking and listening. (Talk Club)

Whether you’re having a 2/10 day, a 5/10 day or a 10/10 day, you’re welcome.

Sometimes we just need a place where we can put the world to one side for a bit, pick up a cue, have a chat and spend some time with other people who understand.

🎱 TALK & POOL
💬 TALK. LISTEN. TOGETHER.

If you’re thinking about coming along but aren’t sure what to expect, drop me a message. And if you’re nervous about coming on your own, you’re more than welcome to bring a mate.

Come along. Have a game. Have a chat. See if you can get your number up. ❤️

🎱 FRIDAY FLYER RECAP 🎱

What a fantastic night for our Friday Flyer! We had 29 entrants step up to the table, and it was brilliant to see so many new faces travelling from across South and Mid Wales to join us. A massive thank you to everyone who popped down and supported the event! 👏

🏆 The Finalists

Congratulations to Richie Rees and Lewis Murray, who agreed to split the £210 prize pot in the final whilst Steve Feeley and Gareth 'Gatchy' Williams took £40 each for reaching the Semi Finals.

Well done to all!

💰 Break & Dish Update

Unlucky for Darren 'Elvis' Smith, who narrowly missed his 4th ball for £200! That means the Break & Dish raffle rolls over once again... and next week’s pot will stand at well over £900!

🔥 Over £50 per ball up for grabs! 🔥

The question is... who’s coming to take it all next week?

Hi all,

Pontypridd & District Pool League kicks back off this evening. Good luck to all 5 teams from the club who are in the mix.

Looking forward to tomorrow, Fri-aay Friday flyer is back :)

Last week Lewis won the brake and dish raffle but failed to make a ball off the break. Current pot now sits at £680.... that would sit at £40+ a ball for someone to have a go at tomorrow.

As usual, let us know if you want to enter. Tournament round robin format, is run on cue score and tables will be live streamed throughout the night.

Good luck and see you soon.
