DF50 Fest - 3/3
And that's a wrap on our DF50 Fest memories!
From the Staff vs Alumni & Parents football match to live performances by Denefield All Stars and Bone Idle, the evening was full of entertainment, laughter and special moments. 🎶⚽
We ended the celebrations with a speech from our Headteacher, Mr Towill, who looked back on Denefield's journey, thanked everyone for their support and announced our raffle winners.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, especially our former students and staff who returned to celebrate with us. Thank you also to our performers, volunteers, PTFA, raffle donors, sponsors and everyone who helped make DF50 Fest possible.
Here's to 50 years of memories and many more to come!

DF50 Fest - 2/3
One of the loveliest parts of DF50 Fest was welcoming so many familiar faces back to Denefield.
It was wonderful to see former members of staff including Mr Thomas, Mr Larner, Mr Lewin, Mr Orme, Mrs Sawyer, Mrs Collins, Mrs Carddock, Mrs Searle and Mr Guest, along with many more, returning to the school and catching up with old friends and colleagues.
For some of our former students, there were also familiar faces who are still very much part of Denefield today, including Mrs Tarrant, who many will remember as Miss Bird, and Mr Shaw.
From familiar faces catching up and old memories being shared, to our DF50 commemorative mugs, raffle and refreshments, there was something happening around every corner.
A big thank you to our newly formed Denefield PTFA, who ran the bar and snacks stall and helped make the evening such a success.
A huge thank you to everyone who came back, got involved and helped us celebrate 50 years of Denefield.
Part 3 coming out tomorrow!

DF50 Fest - 1/3
On 25 September, we celebrated 50 years of Denefield with a very special evening bringing together generations of our school community.
It was so special to welcome back former students and staff, alongside our current students, families and staff, and see so many familiar faces reconnecting.
From our Memory Lane exhibition and Dene-Dogs served by our staff team to the Staff vs Alumni & Parents football match, there was so much happening throughout the evening.
We also loved seeing Bone Idle, a band made up of former Denefield students, back at Denefield and performing for us.
Most of all, it was wonderful to see different generations of the Denefield community together again, sharing memories and celebrating 50 years of our school.
Here are a few of our favourite moments from the evening.
More photos and memories from DF50 Fest coming soon...

Denefield is getting ready to Race for Life!
On Friday 16 October, our school community will be coming together to take part in Race for Life and raise money for Cancer Research UK.

When donating, please use the correct House link and include the student’s name and tutor group.
