Year 5 have had a great time at Rushall Farm. We should be back at school for children to be collected from 3pm. Please meet on the KS1 playground. Siblings will still need to be collected at 3:15pm as usual.

Meet Zandy and Neville, the two gorgeous puppies that we are sponsoring at Hearing Dogs For Deaf People

Last term, our School Council hosted Funky Friday which raised over £500. They chose to use the proceeds to sponsor two puppies on their journey to become hearing dogs.

We just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for all the cards, gifts and kind words today. We really appreciate your generosity. All the staff at Springfield want to wish you all a happy summer. For those returning or just starting, we look forward to seeing you all in September. For those who are leaving us, we hope you enjoy all your new adventures but know that you’ll be missed.

Art Club 2025/26 has come to a close and we ended with a gallery show. The children have really loved the Cartoon and Manga/Anime theme and produced some fabulous work. I hope that the Year Sixes carry on enjoying art at their new secondary schools. I’ll be back again next year for more art clubs with Year 5 and 6 so keep an eye on the bulletin in the autumn term for more information.

Funky Friday reminder.
Tomorrow is Funky Friday. This is a regular non-uniform day with the added bonus of funky hair or hats. School Council are using this fundraiser to support a puppy with Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and are asking for contributions of £2. Please pay using the following link: www.mychildatschool.com
