This year we are going to start the Christmas cash for kids raffle early (start selling tickets the start of November)
That way it gives us plenty of time to get the tickets posted ready to draw the second week in December giving me time to get everything and get it to the people that need it
Last year we sold 1000 tickets at £1 per strip and raised a massive £1000 getting 4 full shopping trolleys of toys for children going with out
We don’t just clean bins here at wheelie clean Rotherham
Children are our future and some need a helping hand so be kind

Just a quick update
This week we are back, our busiest week and completed all the work every day

After 2 hospital visits weeks & weeks of been bed ridden this week is the first i have felt half alive still not 100% but getting there

Been stuck in bed then trying to go to work the first day I’m out of bed was making things worse but I wouldn’t listen, doing a day or what I can then put back to bed for 2/3 days all I have done is work then straight home to bed
Not been able to do nothing not been booking in or even picking the phone up my priorities have been getting what regulars I can physically do then home sleeping hoping I can get out the next morning

never not had my lad I haven’t seen him for 3 week 💔 cannot wait until this weekend 💚

Totally out of my hand but service is now back to normal,cleaned for most of you for nearly 5 year missed a handful of days not even took holidays

I really shouldn’t be back at work yet but been self employed I have no choice
I’m paying 2 lads to help out while I’m ill
I’m the sat nav and fetching the odd bins and doing what I can
I do have to prioritise those in credit and those who keep on top of payments
Unfortunately I can’t afford to pay them to clean your bin if your not paying me
I did ask for accounts to be brought to date last week some of you blanked me
Once your account is brought to date we can resume as normal

As some of you may already know, I’ve recently been in hospital with pneumonia. I’m now back home recovering.

I’d like to sincerely apologise for letting anyone down, especially during this hot weather when clean bins are needed the most. Unfortunately, this was completely unavoidable.

The doctors have advised me to rest for 3–4 weeks, but as I’m self-employed, that’s simply not realistic. I’m hoping to return to work as soon as I’m able—ideally tomorrow, but Monday at the latest.

The good news is that I have two new members of staff starting, including a new driver. This will take a huge amount of pressure off me and should ensure your bins are cleaned on schedule,

While I’ve been off, the business expenses have continued along with personal bills, despite no income coming in. If your account has an outstanding balance, I would be extremely grateful if you could bring it up to date as soon as possible.
I’m currently owed over £3,500, which is more than 1,000 outstanding £3.50 cleans. Every payment really helps the business while I recover.

I do bank transfers manually and sometimes the odd payment does slip past me however it’s easily corrected this system tracks everything the date and even what time we cleaned your bin tracks the date and time I added your bank payment easy to match this up with your reference on the bank app

We’re looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join our wheelie bin cleaning team.

📍Roles available📍

🚐 Driver/Cleaner 🚐 must be over 25

🏃 Passenger/Runner 🏃

🔻Key responsibilities🔻

▪️Ensure every bin is cleaned properly, with a fresh liner and deodoriser
▪️Return bins to the correct location (not left on the street)
▪️Be polite and respectful to customers and their property
▪️Handle payments accurately (cash and iPad system must always match)
▪️Make sure no bins are missed or skipped

📍Driver/Cleaner role📍
▪️Drive and operate the cleaning of bins
▪️Must be confident driving a van, including reversing and navigating tight spaces
▪️Good sense of direction is essential getting from street to street without a satnav
▪️Be over 25 for insurance purposes

📍Passenger/Runner role📍
▪️Collect and return bins
▪️Handle customer payments (door knocks or agreed locations)
▪️Update jobs and payments on the iPad

📍What we expect📍
▪️Ability to work independently with common sense
▪️Physically fit and able to work at a fast pace
▪️Reliable – Monday to Friday work
▪️Professional behaviour at all times (no swearing, spitting, or inappropriate conduct)

This is not an easy job. You’ll be covering a high number of properties daily, remembering routes and payment types. Time management is crucial – delays add up quickly.
Must be able to work under own initiative

Pay:
Driver cleaner start pay £400 per week
Runner start pay £300 per week
During trial period

Rising Up for strong, reliable workers

rising a extra £100 taking it to £16.66 per hour and £13.33 for the runner although it is target based, you have a certain amount of work to complete
if the bin men are delayed we just have to roll with it, I don’t set targets I couldn’t easily do my self, the key is time efficiency knowing exactly where to stop on a bin learning which bins are ours at a glance all saves time

It might take 12 month to learn the job fully
