It was another action packed weekend of racing at the Ulster Superbike Championship and both Paige and Ella delivered performances that made their team incredibly proud!

Paige Cool, Calm & Completely in Control - P2 • P2 • P2
Paige headed into the weekend with a clear game plan and she executed it perfectly!
With championship points firmly in mind, Paige knew exactly what she needed to do and was more than happy to cruise comfortably in P2, keeping her focus on the bigger picture. Cool, calm and composed, she never looked under pressure and showed impressive maturity throughout all three races.

With two races remaining, Paige knew the job wasn’t quite finished yet but knows all she needs to do is keep doing what she does best and that’s putting the pressure on and showing the boys how it’s done!

Three races, three fantastic P2 finishes, and another hugely successful weekend for Paige. The championship battle is going right down to the wire, and Paige is right where she needs to be! Best lap time of the weekend 1.21.9 👌🩷

Ella Smiles, Speed & A Fantastic Fightback -P7 • P6 • P6
Ella showed fantastic progress throughout the weekend, with her speed and confidence building as the conditions improved. After a solid P7 finish in Race 1 on Saturday, Ella returned to the track on Sunday and immediately stepped things up. She battled her way to P6 in Race 2, before producing another brilliant performance in Race 3 to secure yet another P6 finish and it was close, incredibly close!

There was just 0.48 seconds separating 4th to 6th at the chequered flag in Race 3, highlighting just how competitive the racing was but it wasn't just her results that impressed, Ella put on a performance that had the crowd behind her and as she came back through pit lane after one of her races, she was greeted with a fantastic round of applause and that smile said it all! Ella was smiling from ear to ear, and rightly so. She put in a determined, confident performance on track and gave her team plenty to be proud of while leaving the circuit with a new PB with a best lap time of 1.26.04 👏 🩷

Two Riders and two brilliant days of racing!
Paige continues to keep show the boys how’s it’s done, while Ella is showing impressive pace, confidence and progression with every race we have no doubt that she will be on that podium soon too! 🩷

Many thank to ours sponsors who help keep the kids dreams alive! 🏍️💨🩷

It’s race weekend at the Ulster Superbike Championship , and we’ve got plenty to look forward to today and Sunday!

Paige Mullen heads into the weekend leading the championship. If everything goes to plan, she could potentially wrap up the Championship by Sunday. Paige just needs to do what she does best and we have no doubt that she will show the world not just the boys that the girls belong at the top! It’s all to play for.

Ella Mosgrove Racing will continue her pursuit of those bigger cc machines, and this weekend she’ll be the only 250cc on the grid. She’s got another big challenge ahead, but she’ll continue to give it everything and hunt down those bigger bikes.
Jay won’t be making the grid this weekend due to an illness which is beyond his control but before you know it, it will be the next round and our Jay will be back! 💚🏍️💨

Good luck to all our girls racing this weekend. Let’s hope for a safe, successful and exciting couple of days!

Don’t forget commentary is live today on you tube

Bring on racing!

Another weekend, another double victory for DJ Racing’s Lewis Mullen!

We wanted to give a huge shout-out to Lewis , our Paige Mullen’s big brother, who was back on track at the weekend and delivered yet another outstanding performance taking two P1 finishes and securing 1st overall.

Lewis also posted a superb 1:14.6 fastest lap, underlining just how competitive his pace was throughout the weekend and what makes the result even more impressive is the bigger picture. Having competed in just four rounds so far this year, Lewis currently sits 7th in the Championship, with plenty of opportunity still ahead of him to climb the standings.

At just 15 years old, Lewis is already building an incredible racing CV. This year has seen him step onto the British Superbike Championship (BSB) stage and make his mark, while continuing to prove himself against some of the strongest young riders in the country.

Lewis has already achieved a phenomenal amount this season, including 3 podiums and a race win at Thruxton and is one of the youngest riders from Northern Ireland to take a win in the BSB series at 15, an incredible accomplishment for such a young rider.

One of the most special parts of Lewis's story is that he isn't the only Mullen making headlines on two wheels. His younger sister Paige Mullen, aged 13, is carving out her own racing journey and together the siblings have created a very special piece of family racing history.

Lewis, 15, and Paige, 13, became the youngest brother-and-sister pairing to win races at the same circuit on the same day, an incredible achievement that perfectly captures the competitive spirit running through the Mullen family.

There may be plenty of rivalry between brother and sister away from the track, but when the helmets go on, both riders are proving that they belong at the sharp end of motorcycle racing.

With another double victory now added to Lewis's growing list of achievements, the momentum is clearly building and at only 15 years old, Lewis is already making his presence felt on the national racing scene, and if this weekend is anything to go by, there could be plenty more P1 results still to come.

Congratulations Lewis what a performance! Keep pushing, keep learning and keep showing the talent that Northern Ireland has! 👏 🏁🏍️💨

It was a day of changing conditions, dramatic battles and impressive performances as Paige, Jay and Ella took to the track each facing their own challenges but refusing to give up.

From a wet qualifying session to a drying track and fiercely contested races, the trio showed exactly what can happen when determination meets opportunity.

Paige’s weekend got off to a frustrating start.
Qualifying in 7th, she battled with an issue with her gear lever, struggling to get the bike smoothly through the gears. It would have been easy to let the frustration take over but Paige had other ideas.

Remembering last week’s incredible recovery from the back of the pack, she knew she had already proved she could fight her way forward.
She simply had to keep her head in the game and that’s exactly what she did.

Paige produced two fantastic starts, immediately putting herself in the fight. Race 2 proved to be the standout performance of the day as she latched onto the back of P1 and stayed there for a considerable period.
Lap after lap, Paige continued to push, bringing her times down as the race progressed.

Eventually, the team gave her the signal to settle for P2. With almost three seconds separating Paige from the rider behind, it was time to bring the bike home safely.
Paige crossed the line to claim an impressive 2nd overall.
And with a best lap of 1:23.3, there was plenty to celebrate.

Could we be witnessing the birth of a new nickname? The Comeback Queen. 👑😂🩷

Jay Coates – Refocused, Relentless and Showing His Racecraft
Jay began the day in 5th, setting a best qualifying lap of 1:28.8 in wet conditions and as the circuit began to dry, so did the lap times. Jay continued to find pace throughout the day, eventually bringing his best lap down to a hugely impressive 1:25.6. It was clear that the reset and refocus from the previous weekend had worked.

Out on track, Jay looked determined and aggressive, making some excellent overtakes down the start/finish straight and into Turn 1 and once he had taken those positions, he wasn’t interested in handing them back.

Jay began closing the gap to 4th and 3rd, looking increasingly dangerous as the race developed.
Then came a setback at Brocks, an issue forced Jay to lose some ground, but this is where Jay showed another side of his racing ability. Rather than taking unnecessary risks, he made the decision to settle into P5 – showing real racecraft and maturity.

Knowing when to attack is important, but knowing when to protect your position can be just as valuable. Jay wasn’t taking any chances. He brought it home safely to secure 5th overall. It wasn’t just about the pace he showed throughout the day Jay demonstrated that he is developing the race skills to make the right decisions when it matters most. 🏁💪🏼

If there was one rider who wanted the rain to stay, it was Ella!

Loving the wet conditions, Ella produced a sensational qualifying performance to put herself 3rd on the grid.
The look in her eyes said everything.
It was perhaps the moment Ella realised that all those laps spent having to push harder into the corners just to keep pace with the bigger 300s were finally paying off.
While some riders were understandably cautious about pushing hard in difficult conditions, Ella wasn’t.
She attacked the corners, she found grip and she took full advantage.

Her qualifying lap of 1:28.3 was enough to secure an outstanding third-place starting position.
Unfortunately for Ella, however, the weather gods had other plans.
She may have prayed for rain to stick around for the rest of the day… but clearly, she didn’t pray quite hard enough! 😂

As the circuit dried, the bigger 300s were able to attack the corners harder once again, making life much more difficult for Ella on her smaller machine.
But she never stopped fighting.
Ella dug deep in both races, eventually securing P7 in Race 1 and P9 in Race 2 and despite the changing conditions, she continued to improve her pace, recording a 1:27.7 best lap of the day quicker than her qualifying time.

Three Riders. Three Stories. One Huge Amount of Fight.
From Paige’s remarkable comeback to Jay’s relentless overtakes and growing racecraft, and Ella’s sensational wet weather qualifying performance, it was a day that showcased three very different racing styles but one common ingredient: Determination - The conditions may have changed. The track may have dried. The competition may have fought back however none of the three riders gave in. And if this weekend is anything to go by, there is plenty more excitement still to come.
The Comeback Queen has arrived, Jay is showing he can race with his head as well as his throttle, and Ella has shown exactly what she can do when the heavens open.

Well done to all involved with the running of the weekend great weekend has by the Boss-E Team at the Ulster Superbike Championship 👏
