Morning all. Busy, busy, busy..

Annie's trike nearly done, test ride next weekend?? Exhausts done, engine runs nicely, I broke the choke cable, so new one fitted. Just hope Blu still fits his 'seat', he has filled out a bit 😃

Started my trike, forks out, bearings out, New seals and oil for forks on order. At least all front end will be done, hopefully new bearings will go someway to helping the massive steering wobble, but, dampers will be required. Risers to go in too allowing me to sit more comfortably 😊

Still open for business if you need a job doing. Or, just a visit, always popping the kettle on.

Been absent from here for a while. So. HAPPY NEW YEAR !
Have spent a lot of time on Annie's trike. Finishing off Blu's seat, completing the new stainless exhaust system (my own creation 😃) and general tidying. Nearly there.
Electrics went pop in lean too, so had to sort that. Both portable heaters went bang and tripped the whole house out....Ooops.
So, back on it today, weather looking okay 😁

6 right angled, box section brackets. Client supplied the 'straight' length of box section. All done ready for collection after cutting, welding and tidying up :-)

Morning all, bit of an update. Getting on we with Annie's trike.
Engine nearly done after oil pump went.
Blu's seat is also nearly done, waiting on softer springs, he's not that heavy.
Boot has been cut down to level of petrol tank and old hinge removed as totally f # . They had welded it on!!!!

Well..busy I have been.
Trike number one has been sorted and returned to its owner, who is as happy as can be.
Trike number two was ridden, after being towed here, home to Southampton. The owner reckoned he went all the way grinning like a Cheshire cat.
Now back to sorting Annie's out and get Blu's 'seat' sorted out.
Then sort mine out, in between being chief cook and bottle washer, because Annie is in plaster till mid November with a fractured wrist 😳

Not been on here for a while. Really been busy, oil pump on Annie's trike went, clients trike building and fitting tow bar.
Oil pump out, found new one, New filter and proper old style oil found. Just need to put it all back together. Also whilst off road, have changed handlebar mounting to hopefully make it easier to turn at stop or low speed.
Clients tow bar at fabrication stage. He was hoping it would be ready for Dubs of Anarchy, unfortunately I am not hopeful. Weather has been against me and materials not arriving quick enough.
In between times helping another client adapt a Goldwing trike rear end to fit a BMW bike front. Making up spacers and inserts for him.

So as we are away for the weekend, best get back to it 😃

No interuptions from dogs today. So, so long as rain holds off, clients trike will be finished. Well in time for our weekend at Wheels of Steel :-) :-)

Right. Have trike to sort out by next Thursday for a client. Also need some more test riding on mine, ready for first proper trip next Friday to Wheels of Steel in Cirencester. So best get to it and let Badger n Blu play fight all day 😀😀

Had a busy week. Brakes all done on my trike. Test ride today if weather holds. Viewed a job on another trike yesterday....told him .."you can do that" So he's going to do it and if needs be I will assist. Went out last night and now recovering :-) :-)

Worth all the hard work I think.
New mudguards.
New lights on rear.
Handbrake 're mounted.
New battery box made and mounted.
Frame cut down.

Nearly forgot....also made a proper breather n filter for diff and fitted.. you can just see it poking up behind right hand light 😀

Lights were held on with gaffa tape after re-wire just to get trike here. Brackets and holders turned up and fitted. Shiney bits galore :-) :-)

Cobra Leathers needed a 1" dye set for eyelets. So Annie's wish, was my command. 😁 All she has to do now is wield the hammer 😁😁

Client bought new indicators for his bike. Too small for original fittings. So, stainless steel inserts made and indicators fitted. Small button head screws used as a retainer, not really needed, as inserts are a press fit, belt n braces as always. Jobs a good un 😀😀

Extension brackets made for hand guards, now fitted, one adjustment to do, spacer needed to level them up, but only a little one 😀 Customer very happy 😃

One pair of hand guards. Brackets were too short. Made extensions and polished up from raw stainless flat bar. Customer wanted shiny, she has got shiny 😀😀

My little project works 😄😄 No more overflowing recycling box. A must have if the wife drinks Carling, them cans are tough 😄😄

Ians idea, Claire designed it, I printed n laminated it then Ian fitted it into what was the fixed tax holder on blue trike. Loving it

The old and the new on tow bar mount for a land rover.
New framework fabricated and welded into place, with new, hand turned and threaded, boss mounting points.
Stronger and more secure than original mounting.
*Just been informed it is a Tomb Raider Land Rover and it is number 36 of 250 😀

Tony, did that adaptation I did on that master cylinder push rod work? Never heard back from you, so I assumed it did 😀

New brake pedal set into plumbers blocks. New spacers and seating on the rear part of brake rod. One happy wife. Grannie now stops 😀😀

New spacers made and fitted for a quick release luggage system after one got lost.

Trike is rigid. When travelling with no passenger, seat and rack bounce and rattle!! So manufactured a stay. When no passenger, bolt in top hole to keep everything rigid. When carrying a passenger, bolt in bottom hole which allows full up/down movement of stay rod. John is so pleased, he now just needs to get the paint brush out 😀

New suspension for rear seat all done. Just one other little job to do and it can go back to its owner on Saturday. 😀

Excited......my new hydraulic lift table/cart. Just used it to move an auto gearbox. It was just so, so easy 😁

Well, an update. The major tidy up is going well. In between trips to the tip, I have done a few little jobs on the wife's Trike, and our 'Stretch Teardrop' as dubbed by a friend. However I am open for business ready and waiting.
