We’re looking for 8 volunteers to join The Roxi Foundation for a special bucket collection at Swindon Town Football Club on Saturday 17 October!

We’ll be collecting before the match, at half-time and after the final whistle, helping us raise vital funds to support families affected by ADHD, autism and SEND.

And there’s a pretty great perk… 👀
🎟️ Volunteers receive a match ticket, so you can enjoy the game and see the action for yourself!
💙 You’ll also have the opportunity to see STFC’s brilliant sensory room, which is available on match days for anyone who needs a quieter space to regulate during their visit.

So, if you love football, want to support a local charity and fancy being part of a great community event, we’d love to have you on the team!

This one is Bitter, Sweet :-(

A couple of weeks ago we picked up a cheque from the staff at the Coventry Building Society, in 4 short months they raised an amazing £931.49. It just shows how fantastic they all are and what a huge shame the branch has closed as part of head office cuts.

We want to wish each and every one of the team the very best for the future and your next employers will be extremely lucky to have you all.

The amount raised will enable us to help another young individual and their family gain the valuable assessment they have been waiting up to 3 years for.
Looking to do a fundraiser? please get in contact we would love your support.

“What if my ADHD isn’t real?”

For a young person who has spent years trying to understand why some things feel harder than they seem to for everyone else, hearing that question on television or seeing it across social media can be incredibly difficult.

Channel 4’s The Great ADHD Myth? has sparked a lot of conversation about ADHD, diagnosis, medication and whether ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition.

Those conversations matter.

But so does the impact they can have on the young people living through them.

🩷 They shouldn’t feel like they’re making things up.
🩷 They shouldn’t feel lazy or broken.
🩷 They shouldn’t feel that they have to defend their diagnosis.
🩷 And they shouldn’t have to navigate confusing or negative media coverage alone.

Our latest blog looks at how parents and carers can help young people understand and navigate the recent coverage around ADHD, including what you can actually say when your child asks:

“Is ADHD actually real?”

We look at media literacy, waiting for an assessment, medication, neurodiversity and, most importantly, how we can make sure our young people feel heard, understood and supported.
