The course provides a solid introduction to managing food hygiene for anyone working in an outdoor setting. We cover UK legislation, the causes of food-borne illness, and crucially how to prevent or reduce the risk of causing it.
We look specifically at scenarios you might encounter working in the outdoor sector, such as Bushcraft sessions, serving food in a Residential Centre, or helping young people plan their DofE expedition menu.
