Can an artificial intelligence create a TradingView indicator based solely on an image?

I tried out this indicator using a rather sophisticated Smart Money Concepts indicator.

The image was uploaded to Xen AI for TradingView, after which the Prompt Builder was employed to create a detailed specification based on what was visible on the chart. Xen then produced the Pine Script v6 indicator, checked the code as it was being developed and finally delivered a version that compiled successfully in TradingView.

The script when it had been finished consisted of hundreds of lines of code.

The image by itself doesn't show the precise original calculations, which means that some further prompting is still required in order to establish the missing logic. However, the workflow is quite different from the one involved in preparing a full specification and manually coding the indicator from scratch.

The total cost of the build was only a few pennies when it came to the use of AI.

I’ve just published a new TradingView Xen AI demo showing how to convert an existing NinjaTrader strategy into Pine Script v6.

The example takes a NinjaScript strategy with EMA, RSI and ATR logic, converts it for TradingView, then checks the code and tests it using the Strategy Tester.

This should be useful if you already have a strategy on NinjaTrader or another platform and want to move the logic over without rewriting everything manually.
