Rocky update 🐕

Rocky went to his new home yesterday and is settling in well.
Thanks everyone for all the applications and messages.

Chip 🐶

Chip is an almost 8 year old toy red poodle.
He is looking for a new loving home ❤️
He loves to sit on your lap to get lots of pets and loves to lick and give his affection back.
He loves to play with toys.

He isn't very good with other dogs or cats, he would be best suited if he was the only pet house hold.

If interested in chip, please fill out and adoption form on our webiste. ☺️

Rose & Maid 🐶🐶

These lovely collies are looking for a new home 🐕

Rose (1st picture) is 8/9 years old, lovely girl and loves affection, she has lots of energy.

Maid (2nd picture) is 11/12 years old, again lovely girl loves attention and loves to run and explore.

These are mother and daughter they have lived in kennels their whole life, so it will take some adjustment, time and patience for them to be in a home. They can be homed together or separate.

Please fill out an adoption form on our webiste if you would like one of both of these lovelies to be apart of your family ❤️

We are thrilled to tell you Quinn is now settling into her new home. We received some truly wonderful applications for her and we thank everyone who played a part.....not only the applicants but also those of you who shared her post....together we made it all possible!

Thank you to everyone who attended our dog show on Saturday, it was a fantastic day and we were blown away by everyone's generosity.

It was great to have so much support from the local community and to get to meet so many adorable pups, both young and old.

A special thanks to our judges Trish & Viv, presenting the Sighthound Rose Bowl donated in memory of their mum Rose O' Brian.

It couldn't be done without the help of our fantastic volunteers who always go above and beyond!

A big shout out to Sarah, Lewis, Mags and Lola for helping out on our stalls, especially at such short notice, you are stars!

Thank you to Sam who took pictures on the day. You can find them on his FB page.

DON'T LET QUINN SUFFER FROM THE CURSE OF THE BLACK DOG!

We are making a special appeal on behalf of Quinn, our lovely Kelpie/Collie cross who has not found a new home yet.

All rescues across the country face the same problem. For some unknown reason black dogs are the least likely to be adopted. The statistics are quite shocking. Many receive no offers of a new home over several years.

As a dog lover whose dogs have mostly been black, including two Kelpie crosses, I am saddened that these dogs are overlooked and potential new owners miss the chance of adopting truly wonderful companions.

KWK9 would ideally like to have Quinn resettled before mid October and we urge you to read her profile and give her a great future....and she would greatly enhance yours.

She is a timid, shy girl, only being rehomed because the owner's circumstances have changed and she does not have the company she craves.

Kelpie, in my experience, are tremendously loyal dogs who cherish human company. They are obedient and love to please. If my home situation allowed it Quinn would be lying on my hearth rug. Since I saw her my head has struggled to rule my heart.

GIVE THIS WONDERFUL GIRL THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE THE LUCKY BLACK DOG!

Rocky update....

We are still actively working with Rocky's owners to secure him a forever home. We hope to have an update by the end of the week. We know everyone is anxious and wondering what is happening but rest assured all is being done to keep Rocky safe.
