Good Shepherd Relief In Need

Halloween has arrived in the shop now

A charity working in the West Midlands who offers help and support around energy and not means tested. Please use online form or telephone number provided.

Alongside our aim of redistributing preloved items to those in need, we also value the concept of recycling and upcycling to avoid sending unloved items to landfill therefore reducing our carbon footprint.

One of our valued customers recently created this terrarium from a purchase from our shop - isn’t it beautiful!

Come and look at items you might want to upcycle. We are based at East Park Methodist Community Hub, WV1 2ND. We open Monday to Friday 10am.

Is it time to update your wardrobe?

We have lots of adult and children’s clothing ready for you to pick up a bargain.

We are at East Park Methodist Community Hub, WV1 2ND. Doors open at 10am Monday to Friday.

If you're having a clear out this summer, then please think of donating any pre-loved furniture to our Too Good to Chuck scheme.

There's a real need for good quality household furniture that can be given a second life and help other vulnerable Wolverhampton families. They might be having to start over through no fault of their own or facing financial hardship in these difficult times.

Can you help with the following:

Sofas & armchairs
Dining tables & chairs
Wardrobes & chests of drawers
Small household essentials and other good quality furniture

Every donation helps transform an empty house into a home, providing families with the essential items they need while reducing waste.

If you can bring a bit of comfort to local families in need, then please drop your items at Shaw Road Household Waste and Recycling Centre at the Too Good to Chuck container or at the Anchor Lane site.

Funded by the Government's Crisis and Resilience Fund.

Long post (but please read to the end)

As you move into a new home there are always lots of additional costs around furnishings and household items.

These costs are inflated if you have secured housing following a period of homelessness, fleeing domestic violence or a care leaver, for example.

We work to keep these costs down by offering low cost preloved items and in some cases gift ‘homemaker packages’. A typical cost of a homemaker pack is £250.

To do this, we need donations of household items. We desperately need wardrobes, sofas, chests of drawers, pots and pans, bedding (particular single linen) and towels*

Please DM us if you can help us with donations.
