Carnforth School

You are invited to join us, with the rotary club, to celebrate 20 years of reading! We are so thankful for The Rotary Club who come and read, and so much more, with our children. We will have a special celebration assembly at 1:30pm then at 2:15 will enjoy cake and squash together while we hold a special DEAR time. See you there!

The book Fayre is back! A wide selection of books are available to buy from Wednesday 7th October until Tuesday 13th October. The Book Fayre will be open from 3pm - 3:45pm on these days in the hall - see you there!

Please find attached MAGGS’ Harvest Wish List. We will be using the money raised from Friday’s Crazy Hair Day to purchase some of the much-needed items on the list. If you would like to make an additional contribution by donating any of the items requested, we would be incredibly grateful for your support. Thank you for helping us make a difference in our community.

As Halloween is fast approaching, it's time to get creative with some pumpkin carving! Bring your entry to school by the 20th October! 🎃🎃

This Friday we are having a crazy hair day as a fundraiser for MAGGS to help support our harvest appeal! Bring £1 and your craziest hair style! Just a reminder that normal school rules apply on Monday so please no permanent dye! We can't wait to see what you come up with!

Don't forget that The Big Smile Lunch for all children is happening this Thursday! We can't wait! :)

We've had an action packed few weeks! Check out our newsletter to see what we have been up to as well as upcoming events - get them in your diary!

Also, a reminder that tomorrow (Monday 28th September) is school photo day! Remember to wear full school uniform and a smile! See you tomorrow :)

Check out our new family learning course starting on the 21st of September. The best part, it is food based! Explore the eatwell plate, design healthy lunch options with links to reading each week. The group work will include lots of creative fun where children take part alongside their adults. Pop into school to find out more information. See you there! :)
