CXRC Updates

A busy Sunday for some of the team!
Ambassadors Gabby Davies-Taylor and Dan Davies-Taylor finished 3rd (1st lady) and 6th (Dan with a terrier!) at Lakeland Paws !

Steven Burgess completed a 19 mile training plan of the Malvern Summits

Marc Soley (me) took Ralph along for the ride with Steve for 10k up 6 summits and then had a coffee 😂☕

Along with Natalie's win yesterday we call that a productive CXRC Ambassador

Pairs Champions!
They did it 😁 A massive Congratulations to our wonderful CXRC Ambassador Natalie Stainton and her partner (mum) Kerry Stainton for completing 70 miles in 12 hours with their incredible K9 endurance athletes at CaniX Dawn til Dusk!

That's 3 years in a row taking the Pairs award. You have worked so hard and we are so proud. Join us in applauding this massive achievement because it's well deserved 😁🐾🐾🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺🐾🐾😁

Big shout out to Jonathan Hind for supporting the team all day and being our reporter on the ground for CXRC 😜

🐾 CXRC COMMUNITY QUESTION 🐾

We'd love to hear from the canicross community about something we don't talk about enough…

👕 CANICROSS CLOTHING

If you could change, improve or completely redesign anything about the clothing you wear for canicross, what would it be?

Think about anything that annoys you, doesn't quite work, or you wish was different.

For example:

🔹 Fit when wearing a harness
🔹 Tops riding up or bunching
🔹 Waistbands / belts
🔹 Pockets — location, size, accessibility
🔹 Jackets and waterproofs
🔹 Shorts / leggings
🔹 Hot weather kit
🔹 Cold weather kit
🔹 Reflective details
🔹 Zips, seams or fastenings
🔹 Materials / breathability
🔹 Durability
🔹 Getting caught on your dog's line or equipment
🔹 Women's fit
🔹 Men's fit
🔹 Sizing / inclusivity
🔹 Anything that makes changing layers difficult
🔹 Or simply something you've thought "Why doesn't someone make this?" about!

💬 There are no silly answers.

We'd particularly love to hear about the little frustrations you've just learned to put up with because "that's just how running kit is."

Tell us:

1️⃣ What clothing do you currently wear for canicross?
2️⃣ What do you love about it?
3️⃣ What's the ONE thing you'd change?

We're genuinely interested in hearing from as many different canicrossers as possible — whether you're brand new to the sport or have been doing it for years.

🐕🏃‍♀️🐕🏃‍♂️ Over to you… what would you change?

A really elequoent, well written Waggy Races Port Stewart review from our Northern Ireland Ambassador Matt Milliken ☺️ 🐾

Waggy Races - Port Stewart — CXRC Updates Ambassador Review - The Sand, the Soaking, and the Spirit of Waggy Races

Bulk order incoming
CXRC is going to complete a bulk order of Beanie hats and hopefully Bobble hats that will look something like this (mock up photos)

I had no idea how popular bobble hats were in Canicross until my ambassador team educated me 🤣

I would like to know
A) would you want one? (so I can work out bulk number)
B) Beanie or Bobble?

Rough pricing £16 + postage

Looking to confirm with printing company tomorrow (Monday)

Cheers guys 🐾
