Hi, and a warm welcome to our page :)

We are a Community Interest Company, aiming to help adults and young people (16+) with Autism/Learning Disabilities and Mental Health, including Dementia/memory loss. Our activities are:

**Creating Spaces**
We predominantly create space to hopefully enhance Life skills, Work Experience, Social interaction and skills, Training, and Community activities/fun!

**Office/Photocopying & Printing service:**
We have a small office within the shop space, with a desk and computer etc set up if any of our members would like to gain experience in this field. We also have a printer capable of copying/printing up to A3, and provide printing and copying services within the shop. Our members often help with the running of this service.

**Sale of donated goods**
We sell used and new goods kindly donated by the public. Our members help in all aspects of this and most love to help with sorting goods, listing online if able/with help and replenishing supplies. We are grateful for any donated goods, and but due to storage issues are currently only accepting the following:
Clothes, shoes, bags, accessories
Jewellery, unused make-up, gift sets

Please email [email protected] or phone 01978 266167 as we will collect if a large amount of clothing, shoes, bags, accessories, unused make up/gift sets etc.

**Fundraising:**
Any donations of raffle prizes, Clothing and items you no longer need gratefully received as we are self funded.

**Community Café:**
Sadly, we have had to close the cafe and shop in Henblas street due to rising electric, food and other costs. It meant we were running at a loss and could not carry on this way. We are currently operating from an office on Whitegate Industrial Estate. Our aim is to help young people and adults with autism/learning disabilities (including dementia/memory loss to get involved in all that Baseline matters has to offer. Our story

Hi, and a warm welcome to our page. :)

We are a newly formed Community Interest Company, aiming to help adults and young people (16+) with Autism/Learning Disabilities.
We are currently restricted to Wrexham and Flintshire counties, but as we grow so will our area.

Our activities are:

**Fundraising:**
Any donations of clothing, accessories, bric-a-brac etc gratefully received for our small shop that is located within South Arcade, Ty Pawb, Wrexham; we will collect too :D

We also take in genuine empties of printer and toner cartridges, please message us.

Data Shredding service, Small charge for shredding paper/cardboard or credit cards to confetti size (-4mm).

House clearance/part house clearance coming soon (license No: CBDL1334)

**Funding Memberships/activities:**
We will be funding membership costs/activities for adults and young people (16+) within Wrexham County as soon as we have funds available (tba but hopefully beginning January-March 2019):
E.g. If you would like to become a member of the National Trust, we can fund it and also help with the application process. We would also help fund activities such as gym, football, swimming lessons etc.

Our aim is to help young people (16+) and adults with autism/learning disabilities get involved in all that Wrexham and the surrounding area has to offer.

**Sourcing: **

Should you need to find a particular item, we can advertise and source it for you and in some cases fund the item if feasible, thus saving you putting your details into the public domain. E.G. John has autism and likes to wear a particular coat. The coat is no longer made but his current one has seen better days. We can advertise and also contact the manufacturer to try and get the same item for you. (the sourcing arm of this service is open nationwide).

**Long Term Future Goals:**
We have a lot of future goals which will take time to raise funds for. Here are a few of the ideas:

Larger premises so we can offer work placements for those of our members that would like to come and help.

Life skills area

Gaming area

**Long, long term goals** :D

One of our main aims for the longer term is to help Carers of adults with learning disabilities/autism. We know just how hard it can be not having a break, and how hard you work every day supporting those you love. We would eventually love to have a safe place to provide respite so you, the registered carer can have some time to yourself for a short time. This is a very large project, but one we feel would be very much appreciated by all :)
