Sure Signs

Day one started in sunshine and ended with us soaked to the skin but we met some lovely people along the way and enjoyed it all.

Thank you all for your support and fantastic donations that now stand at over £4,400. Absolutely Amazing!

Thanks too to Cathy for your company and keeping Bobby and I going despite the rain.

11 miles down and 859 to go.

I’ve had some crazy ideas and this is right up there. 😁

I wanted to mark the start of my my retirement in some way and this adventure is it.

In just 3 days time my working cocker spaniel Bobby and I will start our Summer charity trek along the Wales Coast Path.

We’ll be setting off from English border in Chepstow and heading clockwise along the south coast, around rugged Pembrokeshire and up the west coast until we reach Porthmadog.

From there we’ll go out on Llyn peninsula to see Bardsey Island and back along the north coast before crossing the Menai strait to walk the 150 miles around the isle of Anglesey.

Once back on the mainland, Bobby and I will pass along the North Wales coast and back to our home near Wrexham.

We’re hoping to cover the 870 miles in around 3 months but there’s no rush, this is going to be an adventure, not a race. 😎

We’re raising funds for Nightingale house Hospice in recognition and thanks for the care they provided to Deb and us as a family and there’s a link on this post if you would like to show your support at any time.

And any support will be gratefully received. 🙌

I’ll also keep you updated as we go.

Best Wishes

Paul & Bobby. xx
