We were very sorry to hear the sad news about Brian (Bri) Sheady who sadly passed away recently. Bri's granddaughter, Eris, attends our after-school sessions and he had chosen Dynamic to benefit from any donations made in his memory.

Happy Monday Dynamic Followers 😀

It was so lovely to welcome Adrian and Gavin to Dynamic recently to thank them for their outstanding efforts in the Cardiff Hyrox. Both took on a gruelling physical challenge, stepping out of their comfort zone, all in aid of our charity.

Between them they have raised a staggering £2,455 for Dynamic. Thank you so much both for giving up your time and energy to support our cause. Well done guys!

One of our young people accessing our Transition service put his money skills to the test this week.💰He started the session by practising his coin and money recognition, before heading out on a shopping adventure to put those skills into action.🛍️

He had the important job of finding the best value items and making some great choices about what to buy — real-life budgeting in action! 👏💷

And that wasn’t all… he also showed amazing patience while waiting in a long queue.🧍‍♂️⏳ He independently paid the cashier himself! 🙌🎉

Another child who accesses our Thrive Together service enjoyed a listening and focus session, getting creative with some sensory play and making their very own planet!

Using balloons and paper plates, they mixed different colours to create the perfect planet shade — encouraging creativity, choice-making and focus.🎨

A brilliant session full of creativity, exploration and smiles! 💜🌟

We love seeing our young people develop these everyday skills, build their confidence and become more independent along the way. 🧡

Join us as we give a big shout out to Lewis & Co Moving Group Ltd who recently donated £200 to our charity. When asked why Dynamic, they told us that it was their 1 year anniversary as a business and wanted to give something back. Amazing!

And to top it off, they've recently completed a house clearance and been granted permission to pass on some items and have offered these to their customers, with donations accepted for Dynamic.

A while ago we announced that we had been shortlisted for a National Diversity Award and last night our Charity Manager, Amy, attended the incredible awards evening 🥂

What a night! So many inspiring individuals and organisations who are doing great work in their communities ❤️

We were shortlisted for ‘community organisation age award’ and whilst we may not have won, to be nominated and then shortlisted is an absolute honour. 🥰

We have so many people to thank, to our:

❤️ Group staff and volunteers who work tirelessly every day to provide fun and inclusive opportunities and moments

🧡 The Services staff team who work closely with young people and their families ensuring they have the skills and tools they need to progress

💛 The Admin and Core team who ensure the wheels keep turning behind the scenes

❤️ Our Trustees, for their guidance and support as always

🧡 Our supporters, who constantly surprise us with their crazy fundraising ideas and generosity

💛 Our families, for your incredible testimonials that were shared with the judging panel and for your constant support

❤️ Our young people, who are at the core of all we do and provide so many moments that we will never forget

🧡 And finally to the National Diversity Awards for their hospitality and support throughout this process
