It’s just around the corner, so here are a few more details on our Oktoberfest celebrations!

This is genuinely one of the things we looked forward to celebrating the most during those cold nights renovating the pub, so to say we’re excited is an understatement.

Lederhosen is strongly encouraged. Sion’s so excited he’s been wearing his since June. So get your outfits ready!

Friday 2nd from 5pm — Yr Hwyl, German food, steins, German beer & pretzels

Saturday 3rd from 5pm — German-style music, German food, steins, German beer & pretzels

Sunday 4th — wrapping it all up with the amazing Marc Gallagher!

Friday & Saturday’s menu: Bratwurst/Frankfurters, currywurst fries, loaded fries & smash burgers 🤤

October will be our first month opening on Thursdays! We’re giving it a go, so come and start your weekends a little earlier with us and show Thursdays some love 🫶🏼

FRIDAY 2ND – OKTOBERFEST KICK-OFF!
We’re kicking off Oktoberfest properly! Yr Hwyl live, steins flowing, pretzels and Smash & Dash cooking up a German-style menu! 🇩🇪🍺
Lederhosen at the ready… and if you don’t dress up, we’ll be disappointed.

SATURDAY 3RD – OKTOBERFEST CONTINUES!
Round two! Smash & Dash are back with their German menu, plus steins, pretzels and all the Oktoberfest fun! 🇩🇪🍻
And yes… the lederhosen rule still applies.

SUNDAY 4TH – MARC GALLAGHER
Welcoming back the amazing Marc Gallagher for a Sunday Funday! We know so many of you missed him last time, so here’s your chance. Shout out your favourite songs and he’ll get them going on the ukulele! 🎶🙌🏼

SATURDAY 10TH – SAM FELGATE + LITTLE ITALY
Sam Felgate will be live and Little Italy will be joining us as we celebrate our not-so-baby cousin’s 21st birthday! 🥹🍕🍻

FRIDAY 16TH – JUST STEAK
The incredible Just Steak are back, rustling up some of the best steak around. If you know, you know 🤤🥩

SUNDAY 25TH – HALLOWEEN QUIZ + GREEK STEW
Our monthly quiz gets a spooky makeover 👻 with a gorgeous Greek stew being rustled up by the amazing Mezedaki. Get your teams ready!

SATURDAY 31ST – HALLOWEEN PARTYYYY!
During the day we’ll be hosting a children’s Halloween party, with games, activities and plenty for the little ones to get involved with! 🕷️🎃

Then from 6PM it’s ADULTS ONLY 🔞
🏆 Best costume competition
👻 Adult party games
🎶 Spooky tunes from our very own DJ Jord
🍻 And plenty of Halloween chaos!

Fancy dress is VERY much encouraged for both Oktoberfest and Halloween! 😂🙌🏼

After such an incredible turnout for our first quiz in August, we’re doing it all over again!
Hopefully we can put on another really fun evening for you all.

We quietly trialled some baps from Johnstown Bakery this weekend, made using meat from their local butchers and completely SOLD OUT! 🙌🏼

So they’re here to stay! We’ll be getting a fresh batch in each weekend and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

We’ll keep the classics coming, with a few seasonal specials as we head into autumn & Christmas… maybe even a mince pie or two 👀🎄

This Saturday, our Cheese & Wine Night will ALSO be accompanied by an incredible live sax player 🎷✨

For £20 per person, you’ll get a sharing cheeseboard, freshly baked bread prepared by Privatechefrossett and a bottle of wine between two.. all while enjoying live sax in The Mill. 🥹🍷
