The Recovery Street Film Festival.
Have you Yorkies ever heard of it?
Its the most amazing annual recovery event, held every year.
A YIR member submitted a short film themselves this year and already has plans to do so again.
The recovery communities of York have much to celebrate and a vital lifesaving message to carry to others.
The medium of film is a powerful way of carrying that message.
ODAAT.

The Recovery Hub are showing the England match tomorrow. The doors open from 16:30
Everyone welcome. A safe space offering connection, hope, conversation & fellowship.

WE RECOVER TOO.
What do we mean by that phrase?
Problematic substance use & addiction suffered by a loved one.
Has, in our experience caused great harm to family members, loved ones, friends.
Where is their support, mutual aid, understanding & safe forum to share & reach out.
Our monthly support group is an open meeting and you are welcome .

Having volunteers allows us to extend our opening hours.
Every Tuesday there is a Recovery Cafe session until 18:30hrs
This week has a little twist we are staying open to host the England match.

Did you know the Recovery Hub offers room hire?
This past week CGL York used our Oaktrees room as a classroom to deliver staff training.
A fully self contained space with great facilities including high speed WIFI.

We are revamping our art club and coming back with a bang! 💥 We’re looking for felt, glue guns, sequins, cardboard, coloured paper, lolly sticks, you name it; if it can be used to make something we’ll take it!
