The 30th TAFISA World Congress Secretariat, in collaboration with the Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC), is excited to announce that TAFISA World Walking Day 2026 will take place on:

📍 National Stadium, Lobatse Sports Complex, Serowe Sports Complex, Molepolole Sports Complex, and Obed Itani Chilume Stadium — all taking place concurrently.

This year, we walk under the theme: “Your Baton, Your Cause.”

The Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committees (CANOC) and the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) have taken an important step forward with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

CANOC President Keith Joseph and OCA President Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani formalised the partnership, opening new avenues for cooperation, knowledge exchange and shared opportunities between the Caribbean and Asia.

The agreement reflects CANOC’s continued commitment to building strategic international partnerships that can strengthen sport development, governance and capacity across its membership.
