Midsummer Fayre
Thankyou ! We need you !!!
Thanks to many of you who came and helped with the Midsummer Fayre at Le Friquet Garden Centre .
It was a wonderful community event , however we didn’t achieve our goal of raising all the money towards the defibrillator, we raised £762.09 plus we received a very generous donation of £500, so we are about 1/2 way there! (£1262.09)
I know a few of you had asked if you could contribute. If you would like give you are most welcome!! Please send a message to Castel church or use the email below.
We hope to run it again next year ( Friday June 18th, 2027 ) but it won’t be possible unless we have a bit more help especially with set up and take down!
So if you feel you can give an hour or so to see the event continue please be in touch either via messenger or email Paul before the end of July when a decision will be made.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Midsummer Fayre and helped make it such a fantastic community event. It was lovely to see so many familiar faces, along with plenty of new ones, enjoying the afternoon together.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, volunteered, ran stalls, baked, helped behind the scenes, and supported our fundraising efforts. Every contribution, big or small, helped make the day such a success.
A special thank you to GU10 , The Guernsey Majorettes , and the Musicschoolkids for their fantastic performances, which brought so much energy and entertainment to the afternoon.
Finally, thank you to Le Friquet Garden Centre - Home of Garden and Living for hosting us and helping us bring our community together for such a special event.
We’re delighted that, together, we’ve taken another step towards raising funds for a community defibrillator. We are about 1/2 way with £1262.09!!
Thank you all for your generosity, kindness and support. We couldn’t have done it without you, and we hope to see you all again next year!

So good to see Little Buttons blessed by others!
I want to take this opportunity to thank Peter at PE Roofing for his generous donation.
Some of the money was used towards our trip to Grow last week, ice lollies this week to keep us cool and we will use some more of the money to fund activities week next week.
Thank you Peter, every penny really does make a difference. 💜
