This year is an exciting one for our Guernsey community, and beyond, with a range of direct European flights and city breaks. Check on here and our website for full details. Send us your thoughts and let us assist you. (Please note that we cannot make reservations or change bookings over Facebook or email and you can also give us a call or even do it yourself at aurigny.com, providing that you have not already checked in. (It is, in fact, easier and often less expensive to do it this way!)
Here are just a few guidelines to keep this page a fun place for everyone to visit:
• In order to protect your privacy, we have a policy to delete any visitor posts or comments containing personal data. We strongly advise you not to publish any personal data on our wall, in text or image form. These include contact details, booking codes, reference numbers and Frequent Flyer numbers. If you need to send us these details, please do so via the private message button.
• Posts containing personal details such as names, contact information or photos of Aurigny or airport employees will be removed.
• We believe that comments and criticism help us to improve our products and services, but we don’t want our Page to be dominated by repetitive messages or discussions. Without removing the topic, we reserve the right to remove some of these posts to leave space for others.
• We do not accept obscenities, insults, shocking or graphic content.

Island life ✈️💛

In 1941, RAF fighter pilot Sergeant Robert Stirling parachuted onto Lihou Island after running out of fuel and losing his bearings while chasing a German bomber. Believing he was near the south coast of England, he had no idea he had landed in German-occupied Guernsey.
Mistaking Guernsey’s greenhouses for the white cliffs of Dover, Robert parachuted down on a full-moon night and unknowingly crossed a minefield before reaching a local couple’s home. The next morning, he gave himself up and was taken into captivity, later spending time in Stalag III and becoming involved in the famous ‘Great Escape’.
85 years later, Robert’s daughter Lesley and her husband Alastair flew with Aurigny from Edinburgh to Guernsey to retrace her father’s incredible story and visit the place where he landed that night, after being invited over by our Aurigny Captain Tim Osborne, who originally researched Robert’s story✈️
It was a privilege to help bring this incredible piece of history to life!💛

We recently welcomed three of our talented young 'Design an Ad' competition winners to our creative agency TPA for an exciting workshop! 💛
They had the chance to develop their ad ideas further with the pros and get a behind-the-scenes look at how a real-life advertising campaign comes together.
As a local airline, we’re proud to show young people that there are so many different career paths in aviation - and you don’t have to be a pilot to be part of it!
From marketing and design to engineering, technology, customer service and operations, there are opportunities to learn, grow and build a career right here in our island community 👏🏼
It was fantastic to see their creativity and enthusiasm in action - well done, Henry, Amelia and Jake!
Maybe we'll see you in the team one day! ✈️

UK ATC Technical Issue - Operational Update 19:57
We sincerely regret to advise that, despite our best efforts, we have been left with no alternative but to cancel this evening's services to/from Gatwick Airport (8 September).
This is due to ongoing air traffic control restrictions following a UK ATC technical issue earlier today.
We appreciate that today’s events have been very frustrating for all, as they have also been for our own crew.
Those affected will be provisionally rebooked onto the next available service; details will be sent to you directly if this concerns you. Our team at Guernsey Airport is also on hand to help with accommodation options on the island, if required.
We would like to thank everyone for all their patience and support - whilst today’s events have been beyond our control, we would, of course, have liked to share better news.
