Small business life means wearing all the hats. Some days I feel like I spin from sales, production, accounting, marketing, merchandising, the website, HR… and the list goes on 😵💫
Sometimes I think I why did I decide to do this? And then I find myself trying on pieces in the studio, playing with different combinations, and thinking about what I want to make next.
And I remember how grateful I am that I get to do this.
Design is always somewhere in the back of my mind, especially as I think about where Geometric is going next. Clothing, and soon interiors, made in collaboration with artisans and human hands. Because to me, handmade isn’t just an aesthetic. It’s knowledge passed from one person to another, traditions kept alive, and a way of making that deserves a future.
So yes, I need a break from my small business sometimes. Apparently I just don’t know how to stop designing. 😂🌿

One of our favorite things about working with hand-dyed batik is that every fabric run is slightly different, so no two pieces are ever exactly the same. Made in small batches, with all the beautiful variations that come from the hand-dyeing process.

These wrap dresses are my go-to most days. I wear mine to work, then straight to drinks or dinner. Tie it tighter or looser depending on how you’re feeling that day, wear it open as a kimono, or throw it over a swimsuit as a beach cover-up.
