This morning, I hosted a team of technical personnel from GRATIS Foundation led by its CEO, Dr. Isaac Adeabsah. The meeting focused on the introduction of the Ghana Women and Youth Employment and Social Cohesion (GWYESCO) Programme in the Techiman North District. President John Dramani Mahama led government through GWYESCO seeks to train and support the Ghanaian youth especially women in agro-processing, with the aim of creating employment. With the support of my Member of Parliament, Hon. Lawyer Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare - MP, I assured the team of the District’s readiness and preparedness to collaborate with GRATIS Foundation to ensure the successful implementation of the programme and create meaningful opportunities for our women and youth.

I had the privilege of receiving Hon. Francis Owusu Antwi, Bono East Regional Minister, to the Techiman North District as part of his tour to inspect various projects undertaken in 2025. The visit provided an opportunity to assess the progress of these projects, engage with contractors and consultants, and reaffirm government's commitment to development in the district. He expressed his satisfaction with work done so far by my Member of Parliament; Hon. Lawyer Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare - MP, and my good self towards the advancement of the RESET AGENDA of H.E John Dramani Mahama; the President of the Republic of Ghana.

Yesterday, the Management of Techiman North District Assembly engaged members of the Eureka Garages Association at Tuobodom. The meeting provided an opportunity to listen to their concerns, understand the challenges confronting their businesses, and discuss practical ways of addressing these issues. We also discussed how the Association and the Assembly can work together to improve revenue mobilization while creating a more supportive environment for businesses to operate and contribute to the development of the District.

We held a District Consultative Meeting aimed at designing a comprehensive District Students’ Code of Conduct under the theme:
“Promoting Discipline, Respect, Responsibility and Excellence.” The meeting brought together key stakeholders to discuss practical measures for addressing student indiscipline across the District. The proposed Code of Conduct will serve as a guide to promote discipline, responsible behaviour, mutual respect and a culture of excellence among students.
