Ms. Kim Poole, has emerged from Baltimore’s underground music scene with a commanding presence. For I am but a thread in the tapestry; masterpiece of life.
I, the conscious mind, aware only that I am flawed, will forever strive to emanicipate myself from the slavery of my own opinion. Favored on no merit of my own, I will be a vessel to uplift the energy that creates life. Born into greatness, each day I mentally groom to repay my ancestral debt, carrying the baton in the political and artistic realms. Here's to Marian Anderson, Nina Simone, Billie Holiday and the many great vocalists before me. To Harriet Tubman, Sojourner Truth, Dorothy Pettaway for wisdom and vision. May my life add color!
