A familiar sight around the Rock, the Common Kestrel can be spotted throughout the year, often hovering high above in search of its next meal.

This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our offices.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide internal and external messenger services
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, couriers and deliveries
• Assist with setting up meeting rooms and events
• Assist with general office, maintenance and administrative tasks as required

About You

• Friendly, approachable, and professional
• Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to help
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial, but is not essential

• Valid motorcycle licence

Desirable
• Valid driving licence

Peter J Isola Foundation Trustees visit Plater Youth Club as refurbishment works progress

Trustees Matthew Isola and Lawrence Isola visited the Plater Youth Club to review the progress of refurbishment works, as part of the Foundation’s partnership with the Gibraltar Youth Service to invest in and improve youth club facilities across Gibraltar.

The Foundation has committed over £80,000 towards the refurbishment of three youth clubs. Following the commencement of works at the Line Wall Road Youth Club, the project has now progressed to the Plater Youth Club, with works at the Dolphins Youth Club scheduled as the final phase.

The refurbishment programme focuses on upgrading existing facilities, including infrastructure, furnishings and technology. The Foundation is proud to support the Gibraltar Youth Service and the valuable work it continues to do in promoting personal development and community engagement.

Matthew Isola, Trustee of the Peter J Isola Foundation, said:
"It is fantastic to see the project taking shape at the Plater Youth Club. Supporting initiatives that invest in our young people and strengthen our community is incredibly important, and we are delighted to be working alongside the Gibraltar Youth Service to deliver these facilities that will benefit young people for many years to come."

During the visit, the Trustees also thanked Domus Construction for the high standard of work being delivered and acknowledged their appreciation for the commitment of Charlene Figueras, Senior Youth Worker, whose dedication has been instrumental in helping to bring the project to fruition.

Peter J. Isola Foundation supports Bruce’s Farm

Following the recent 6th Peter J Isola Foundation Padel Tournament which raised £5000 for Bruce’s Farm, Trustee Tammy Isola and Genevieve Bossino-Soussi, Programmes Coordinator, were warmly welcomed to the facility by Carlos Banderas, Chief Executive Officer of the Care Agency; Giselle Carreras, Head of Therapeutic Services of the Care Agency; Clare Hunter, Acting Therapeutic Lead for DARS; and Paul Bush, Homes Manager.

The Foundation recently donated a motor vehicle to Gibraltar’s Children’s Residential Services and on this occasion the donation to Bruce’s Farm was a further step in the developing relationship and support for the Care Agency. The visit enabled the Foundation’s representatives to better understand the services delivered and the further needs of the facility.

For the Peter J. Isola Foundation, supporting our community goes beyond financial contributions. It is about building relationships, understanding the needs of the organisations we support, and creating a lasting positive impact. In furthering this relationship our aim is to continue to assist Bruce’s Farm in raising further funds to improve the facilities available.

Seeing their dedication first-hand and understanding their needs reinforces the importance of collaboration and shared commitment in making a meaningful difference within our community.”

The Peter J Isola Foundation was proud to support Childline Gibraltar at its 20th Anniversary Gala Dinner, marking two decades of invaluable service to children and young people in the community.

The Foundation is committed to supporting organisations that safeguard and improve the wellbeing of children and young people in Gibraltar.

The event celebrated this important milestone and Childline Gibraltar’s ongoing impact.

ISOLAS associates Louise Anne Turnock and Shakira Marsh-Finch hosted the Foundation’s table, joined by Childline volunteers for the evening.

We extend our thanks to Childline Gibraltar for the invitation and its continued commitment to supporting those who rely on its services.

This month, our calendar celebrates the iconic Barbary Partridge - a truly special part of Gibraltar’s natural heritage.

With origins in North Africa and a unique presence in Gibraltar as its only home in mainland Europe, the species has made an inspiring comeback thanks to careful repopulation initiatives.

A wonderful reminder of the positive impact of conservation and preserving local biodiversity.
