Get Giving Gibraltar completes community upgrade at Gibraltar Children’s Home with support from local sponsors.

Get Giving Gibraltar (GGG) has successfully completed a community-led initiative to upgrade facilities at the Gibraltar Children’s Home, made possible through the generous support of two major sponsors, Pragmatic Play and the Peter J Isola Foundation alongside a number of smaller donors and community fundraising efforts.

The project, which saw the installation of 24 new air-conditioning units, was part of a wider fundraising campaign coordinated by GGG to improve living and working conditions at the home. The upgrades have transformed the environment for those who live and work there, ensuring greater comfort and long-term sustainability.

The initiative was made possible thanks to the collective efforts of GGG’s donors, sponsors, and volunteers, whose contributions ranged from corporate support to individual fundraising events. Their shared commitment underscores how cooperation across the community can create meaningful and positive change.

We had 78 amazing quizzers across 11 fierce teams battling it out — and after a tightly contested showdown, Team Niña were crowned our inaugural champions! 🏆🔥

Special thanks to Pragmatic Solutions for their incredibly generous donation of a case of Pol Roger Champagne, which raised an amazing £400 in our auction! 🥂💥

We’re excited to announce the Get Giving Gibraltar Charity Quiz Night, taking place on Wednesday 14th May at the Royal Gibraltar Yacht Club.

Gather your team of 4 to 8 people and join us for a fun evening of trivia, laughter and friendly competition. Entry is £20 per person, which includes a delicious curry - there will also be a raffle on the night with some fantastic prizes to be won.

All proceeds go towards supporting local causes, so come along, put your knowledge to the test, and help us make a difference.
