All 40 girls at the Aounane Boarding House have successfully passed their end-of-year exams – a wonderful achievement that reflects months of hard work, determination and perseverance. 🎉📚
To celebrate, a prize-giving ceremony was held at the boarding house, where proud parents presented awards to their daughters in recognition of their outstanding efforts.
While the school year has now come to an end for the summer, these girls will return in September 2026 to continue their education.
Thanks to your support, RifCom will once again fund the boarding house throughout the next academic year, helping to provide accommodation, nutritious food, staff salaries, additional tuition and ongoing maintenance. This support gives girls from remote mountain communities the opportunity to attend secondary school in a safe, supportive environment, allowing them to focus on their education with confidence and peace of mind.
Congratulations to every one of these incredible young women. We couldn’t be prouder.

Some people go on holiday and switch off.
Jock takes a RifCom T-shirt, a mountain bike and a level of chaos that should probably require supervision.
Currently hurtling downhill through Nepal on holiday, whilst still proudly flying the RifCom flag wherever he goes.
Total liability. Huge heart. One of the great characters of the RifCom family.
And that’s the thing about RifCom — there’s no one way to support it.
Whether it’s wearing the T-shirt, running a marathon, hosting a sponsored karaoke night or joining one of our treks, every person helps build this community of the heart.
Safe travels, Jock. 🚵🏻♂️
He’s back! 🚴
After 7 months and 6,000km cycling across South America, Dom has finally made it home.
A long-time supporter, fundraiser and friend of RifCom, Dom has taken on this incredible adventure while raising funds for the communities we support in the Rif Mountains of Morocco.
A huge thank you and congratulations, Dom. What an achievement.

Welcome home! ❤️
A huge thank you to Worldwide Action, Jel Bearder and everyone at LOF Finsbury Park, LOF Alexandra Palace and London Outdoor Fitness Clissold Park for donating football boots for children and young people in the Rif Mountains of Morocco.
A special thanks too to Hamish for transporting them, and our Tom for helping coordinate the distribution.
Sport, community and kindness in action.
Months after the devastating storms, recovery in the Rif is still ongoing.
The challenges are real — but so is the determination.
Those who have travelled to visit the communities speak of the deep emotion they felt — witnessing both the damage and the extraordinary resilience of the people.
Teachers keep walking.
Children keep learning.
Communities keep going.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support this work.

Your donations make a direct impact.
At RifCom, we are proud that 100% of the money donated goes directly to projects in the Rif (except for bank charges). As a charity run entirely by volunteers, we are able to use the funds we receive where they are truly needed most.
This is especially important in moments when communities face urgent challenges. During the recent landslides in the Rif, we were able to respond quickly by working alongside the Moroccan Red Crescent to support emergency assistance on the ground.
It’s a powerful example of how donations can be turned into real help when it is needed most.
If you would like to support the work RifCom is doing, please consider making a donation. Link in bio.
The roads to Tanaquob Primary School were destroyed by the landslides.
But the teachers still show up.
They drive as far as they can, walk across the impassable section, and are collected on the other side — all to keep teaching their pupils.
Such dedication. Every single day.
These videos were taken on a sunny day — just imagine the journey when it rains.
If you can support our efforts to help communities like this recover, we would be very grateful. See link in bio
