Led by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission, brings local organisations together each summer to raise vital funds for charity. It’s a fantastic way to make a real difference in our community.

The donations from this initiative have funded essential equipment at St Bernard’s Hospital, including prostate biopsy tools and USS probes that support imaging for kidney and renal stone conditions.🏥

A huge well done to everyone involved in this impactful campaign!

What an incredible effort from our team at this year’s Corporate Touch Rugby Tournament! We were thrilled to participate once again in this annual event.

The final match took place last Friday, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far our team progressed. Despite having limited substitutes, we strived on, and most importantly, we had fun! Every player gave their all, showcasing fantastic sportsmanship and teamwork throughout the matches.

A huge well done to all the teams involved and a massive thank you to the organisers for another brilliant tournament. We’re already looking forward to next year!

Last week some of our staff members participated in the first ! 🎯

A huge thank you to the Gibraltar Darts Association (GDA) who hosted the event at Europa Sports Complex! Despite none of our staff being regular darts players, everyone had an absolute blast! 🎉

The Championship was played as a Best of 3 format, and the GDA even arranged for the Semi-Finals and Final to be played on the Main Stage with walk-on music (selected by each individual!) for each match-up, and an announcer which added to the thrill of each game! 🎤

Most definitely an event which will be added to the Social Calendar for years to come! 🟢

As we mark Mental Health Awareness Week 2026, We are proud to highlight this year's theme: "Action" to support good mental health. It's a powerful reminder that our well-being isn't just about awareness, but about the everyday steps we take to foster a supportive environment.

At Deloitte, our commitment to mental health is a core priority. We've established a global mental health baseline, ensuring consistent support across all our offices, including here in Gibraltar. This includes leadership education, initiatives to reduce stigma, and providing learning and support resources for our offices.

Tilly Blanch, one of our Mental Health First Aiders shared the following: “As one of Deloitte's Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAs), this week resonates a lot with me. People often ask, "What exactly does a Mental Health First Aider do?" Simply put, we are trained individuals who act as a first point of contact for colleagues experiencing mental ill-health or emotional distress. Just like physical first aid, we learn to spot the signs and symptoms of mental health issues, listen non-judgmentally, and guide individuals towards appropriate support, whether that's professional help or self-help strategies.

For me, being an MHFA is incredibly rewarding. It's about creating a safe space where colleagues feel comfortable opening up, knowing they'll be met with empathy and understanding. It's about being there for someone when they might be struggling in silence, offering a listening ear, and helping them navigate towards the help they need. Knowing that I can contribute to a more supportive and mentally healthy workplace, is truly important to me. It's a privilege to play a part in fostering a culture where mental well-being is openly discussed and prioritised.”

Let's all take "Action" this week to support our own mental health and that of those around us. Reach out, check in, and remember that it's okay not to be okay.

Last weekend Deloitte Gibraltar completed the in support of Cancer Relief Gibraltar and the Cancer Relief Centre ⛰️

Happy to say we all completed 5 full rounds, which included hundreds of steps, a close call with a monkey, and 18km walked despite the elevation!

Sore legs aside, it was a brilliant day and even better to be part of something that brought together so many people across the Gibraltar community for such an important cause.

Eid Mubarak to all celebrating! ✨

As the holy month of Ramadan concludes, we extend our warmest wishes to everyone observing Eid al-Fitr around the world. Eid al-Fitr, often known as the "Festival of Breaking the Fast," marks the joyous end of Ramadan, a period of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community.

We asked our colleague, Ayesha, to share her reflections on Ramadan and what Eid means to her:

"For me, Ramadan has been a profound time to slow down and reset. It offers a unique space for reflection, fostering patience, reconnecting with core values, and truly appreciating the small things we often overlook. While the physical challenge of fasting is real, it also brings a valuable sense of clarity and perspective.

Eid al-Fitr itself is a beautiful culmination. It begins with a special morning prayer and is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate completing the month of fasting, express gratitude, and share joy with loved ones. A significant aspect of Eid is also giving to charity, ensuring that the spirit of celebration reaches everyone. It's a powerful reminder to carry forward the values of patience, generosity, and mindfulness throughout the year. I truly appreciate the support and understanding I receive from the office each year; it means a great deal."
