SDBOX – SIMPLER INSTALLATION

SDBOX now loads automatically after installation when the CAD application starts, making the first-run experience significantly simpler.

The uninstall procedure has also been streamlined, allowing SDBOX application files to be removed cleanly while preserving user-created or modified libraries, templates, symbols and other customized content.

Additional interface improvement: For GstarCAD, the larger SDBOX dialogs have also been redesigned in a more compact format, providing a cleaner and more practical interface while retaining all existing controls and functionality.

All new functions are included in the latest SDBOX Trial installers for:

SDBOX UPDATE – ISSUE RESOLVED

The language-compatibility issue described in our previous announcement has now been resolved.

A revised SDBOX version has been completed and successfully tested across all supported CAD platforms.

The updated version preserves the existing SDBOX functionality while allowing SDBOX to operate fully on CAD installations whose interface language is not English.

Updated SDBOX Trial installers are now available for:

AutoCAD
BricsCAD
GstarCAD
ZWCAD
progeCAD

Thank you to the users and partners whose testing and feedback helped us identify and resolve the issue.

IMPORTANT SDBOX VERSION UPDATE

On 5 August 2026, a new SDBOX version was made available for approximately one day. Its purpose was to extend SDBOX compatibility to CAD installations whose interface language is not English.

Although this version successfully resolved several language-related compatibility issues, it also caused regressions in a significant number of commands that had previously worked correctly across all supported CAD platforms.

For this reason, the version was withdrawn immediately and the previous stable version was restored.

The version currently available online is the previous stable release and is intended for English-language installations of the supported CAD applications.

IMPORTANT FOR USERS

Users who installed or updated SDBOX on 5 August 2026 should run the corresponding SDBOX Trial installer again to restore the stable version.

Development of compatibility with CAD applications in other languages is continuing with a more controlled approach, so that the forthcoming version will preserve all existing functionality while extending language support.

A further announcement will be published as soon as the revised version is ready.
