When Athens turns purple 💜
Every year, Athens puts on one of its quietest but most beautiful shows, the jacaranda trees bloom. Their violet petals cover sidewalks and parks in soft color, especially around Zappeion and the National Garden.

The "Cursed" Sisters of Agion Asomaton 🏛️
While urban legends claim these two Caryatids are "crying sisters”, the real story belongs to the sculptor Ioannis Karakatsanis.
In the 1880s, he turned his own home into a living portfolio. Those two ladies with their arms crossed? They aren't just holding up the balcony, they’ve been the talk of the town for over a century! 🤫
