METEORA featured on iefimerida.

Our residential project in Vlora, Albania, draws inspiration from the monumental rock formations of Meteora. Conceived as a monolithic volume emerging from the landscape, the building is shaped by light, shadow and a series of carefully carved openings.

Το νέο συγκρότημα κατοικιών των FIORE Architects στην Αυλώνα της Αλβανίας αντλεί έμπνευση από τους επιβλητικούς βράχους των Μετεώρων. Ένας μονολιθικός όγκος που μοιάζει να αναδύεται από το τοπίο και διαμορφώνεται μέσα από το φως, τη σκιά και προσεκτικά σχεδιασμένες αφαιρέσεις.

Chelidoni House
Chios, Greece

Rather than occupying the site, the house becomes part of it.
Embedded into the hillside, it combines exposed concrete, local stone and generous openings to frame the Aegean landscape.

The proposal, awarded 1st Prize in the international competition, reinterprets the urban fabric of Ypsonas through a sculpted composition of volumes, public space, and light-filled courtyards.
