A refined sanctuary where materiality takes center stage. Veined marble meets softly ribbed walls, warm brass accents and carefully integrated lighting, creating a bathroom that feels both timeless and contemporary. Every element—from the sculptural vanity to the illuminated niches and framed mirrors—was designed to balance opulence with restraint, allowing the natural character of the stone to define the space. From the first 3D visualisations to the built interior, Nahr is a reflection of how an architectural vision can evolve into a tangible, lived experience.

Our initial visuals explored a language of warm neutrals, lime-washed surfaces, bespoke oak joinery and fluted timber, balanced with monolithic counters, terracotta elements and sculptural architectural details. Through the design process, these ideas were translated into real materials, textures, proportions and light — with every detail carefully considered to preserve the character of the original vision while responding to the reality of the space.

The continuity between the visualisations and the completed restaurant was at the heart of the process. Sculpted wall panels, recessed arches, stone-effect flooring, marble pendants and integrated lighting came together much as they were imagined, while curated greenery softened the architectural lines and brought the biophilic character of the concept to life.

Seeing Nahr move from pixels and drawings into a physical space is perhaps the most rewarding part of the process — witnessing an idea become a place that can be experienced, inhabited and remembered.

Nahr restaurant is a recent pride of our studio located in the extraordinary GEM, Grand Egyptian Museum, in Cairo and we are delighted to share it.

Nahr is envisioned as an exploration of elevated material expression and considered form, where contemporary Mediterranean influences are reinterpreted into a cohesive and thoughtfully composed spatial identity.

A muted, tonal palette of warm neutrals is layered with lime-washed surfaces, bespoke oak joinery, and fluted timber detailing to create depth and tactile richness. Monolithic counters and terracotta-clad elements anchor the space, while sculpted wall panels and recessed arches introduce rhythm and subtle shadow play.
A continuous stone-effect floor enhances spatial cohesion, complemented by integrated ambient lighting and marble pendant fixtures that cast a soft, diffused glow. Carefully curated greenery is woven throughout, reinforcing a biophilic sensibility and softening the architectural lines.

The result is a calibrated environment that balances material warmth with contemporary elegance, delivering a serene and elevated dining experience.

A study in understated opulence, this private residence in Antiparos reinterprets Cycladic living through a lens of refined minimalism and tactile warmth.
Soft limewashed walls, natural Antiparos stone, seamless microcement flooring, and pale oak detailing establish a serene monochromatic palette inspired by the island’s natural landscape, while bespoke built-in furnishings enhance the architectural purity of each space.
The living areas are composed with low-profile upholstered seating in textured bouclé fabrics, sculptural travertine tables, and handcrafted woven pendants that diffuse a warm Mediterranean glow.
In the kitchen, custom matte lacquer cabinetry is paired with natural stone surfaces and concealed lighting to create a quiet sense of luxury, while the bedroom suite balances openness and intimacy through floating oak wardrobes, linen drapery, and softly illuminated niches.
Every material has been selected for its authenticity and timelessness — from brushed oak and natural limestone to artisanal plaster finishes and muted earth-toned textiles — resulting in an atmosphere that feels both sophisticated and deeply connected to the calm essence of Antiparos.
