Μια νέα συνεργασία γεννιέται, βασισμένη σε κοινές αξίες.

Το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο του Διεθνούς Συνδέσμου «ΣΠΑΡΤΑΘΛΟΝ» εκφράζει τη βαθιά του θλίψη για την απώλεια του Βασίλη Δημητρόπουλου, μέλους του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου και υπευθύνου εφοδιασμού του αγώνα.
Ο Βασίλης υπηρέτησε το ΣΠΑΡΤΑΘΛΟΝ με αφοσίωση, υπευθυνότητα και ανιδιοτέλεια, προσφέροντας πολύτιμες υπηρεσίες στην οργάνωση και συμβάλλοντας ουσιαστικά στην επιτυχή διεξαγωγή του αγώνα όλα αυτά τα χρόνια. Η εργατικότητα, η συνέπεια, η ευγένεια και η διακριτική του παρουσία τον κατέστησαν ιδιαίτερα αγαπητό σε όλους όσοι είχαν την τύχη να συνεργαστούν μαζί του.
Η απώλειά του αφήνει ένα δυσαναπλήρωτο κενό στην οικογένεια του ΣΠΑΡΤΑΘΛΟΝ. Η μνήμη του θα παραμείνει ζωντανή μέσα από το έργο του, την προσφορά του και τις αξίες που υπηρέτησε.
Το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο εκφράζει τα ειλικρινή και θερμά του συλλυπητήρια στην οικογένεια και στους οικείους του.

Η οικογένεια του ΣΠΑΡΤΑΘΛΟΝ δεν θα σε ξεχάσει ποτέ.

The Board of Directors of the International Spartathlon Association expresses its profound sorrow over the passing of Vasilis Dimitropoulos, member of the Board of Directors and Head of Logistics for the Spartathlon race.

Vasilis served Spartathlon with dedication, responsibility, and selflessness, making an invaluable contribution to the organization and playing a significant role in the successful staging of the race throughout the years. His hard work, reliability, kindness, and humble presence earned him the respect and affection of everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him.

His passing leaves an irreplaceable void within the Spartathlon family. His memory will live on through his work, his contribution, and the values he faithfully upheld.

The Board of Directors extends its sincere and heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Με υπερηφάνεια και αίσθημα συνέχειας, το ΣΠΑΡΤΑΘΛΟΝ ανακοινώνει ότι και για το 2026 θα τελεί υπό την αιγίδα της Ελληνικής Ολυμπιακής Επιτροπής. Η ανανέωση αυτής της τιμητικής αναγνώρισης επιβεβαιώνει τη βαθιά και διαχρονική σύνδεση του αγώνα με τις αξίες του Ολυμπισμού.
